1. Oh. The apparent cost of Married at First Sight’s Cam and Jules’ wedding is absolutely eyewatering.

Earlier this week, we watched Married at Frist Sight’s Jules and Cam get married (for real) on A Current Affair. 

Not only did we have a lot of questions after watching the wedding, but we also couldn’t stop noticing how ridiculously expensive everything looked.

And now we may know just how expensive the nuptials were – you might want to take a seat for this.

Daily Mail reports that the couple would have paid a staggering $80,000 for the wedding if they hadn’t received some of the services for free as part of the television deal.

Now, it’s not clear what elements the couple actually paid for and which were freebies.

But the publication reports Jules’ two custom-made dresses from Nicky Velani would have cost her an estimated $20,000 if she paid for them in full.

The jewellery worn by Jules and the bridesmaids would have also cost $10,000.

Yep, that TV deal really came in handy.

2. The Bachelor golden couple Matty J and Laura Byrne just revealed new details about their upcoming wedding.

Our favourite reality TV couple has announced when they are planning to have their big day. And sadly, it’s not soon enough.

At the launch of Jimmy Choo’s new fragrance the other night in Sydney, Matty J spoke to The Daily Telegraph’s Confidential and said, “There’s no date [set for the wedding]. We love the idea of doing it next year.

“It might be in September when it’s not too hot and just starting to get warmer.”

He goes on to explain how he’ll be doing most of the wedding planning, as he has knowledge of event planning.

“My background is event management so I kind of took the reigns early on and I need to spend more time focussing on the wedding,” says Matty J.

Since getting engaged at the end of April in Fiji, The Bachelor alumni have been getting sh*t done (which might be the reason for the late 2020 wedding date).

They had a beautiful baby, Marlie-Mae in June, travelled across Europe as a family and now both of them have their own podcasts.

“It’s been the one thing [the wedding] on my to-do list that keeps getting pushed down,” Matty J said.

Not surprised!

3. Nominations for next year’s Grammy Awards have been released and there are some obvious snubs… including Taylor Swift.

The nominees for next year’s Grammy Awards have finally been announced, and it seems some celebs have quite obviously been left out of key categories.

According to Fox News, one of the biggest snubs was Taylor Swift’s album Lover, which failed to receive a nomination for Album Of The Year.

It’s pretty surprising considering Swift was the first female artist to win Album Of The Year twice for 1989 and Fearless.

The Jonas Brothers also missed out on nominations in major categories including Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year and Song Of The Year. Thankfully, they received the nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘Sucker’. 

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello also missed out on Single Of The Year for ‘Senorita’ and Ed Sheeran was snubbed for Album Of The Year for his album No.6 Collaborations Project. 

The good news is Aussie music group For King & Country, Aussie dance group Rüfüs Du Sol and DJ Flume all received nominations, so not all is lost.

4. “Take the good with the bad.” The Bachelor’s Chelsie McLeod may’ve had a dig at her ex Matt Agnew on Instagram.

As we continue to speculate on the cause of The Bachelor‘s Matt Agnew and Chelsie Mcleod’s split, it appears Chelsie has taken a subtle dig at Agnew in the form of an Instagram post.

The post in question is a photo of the winner and three other Bachelor contestants captioned: “Take the good with the bad”.

Now, it appears to us that Chelsie is referring to her friends as the “good” she has taken from the experience whilst her relationship (and its sudden end) is the “bad”.

But, of course, this is simply a theory and should be taken as such…

5. Two pregnancies and one lasting couple: Where the cast of Love Island Australia 2018 are now.

Ah, Love Island Australia. On last year’s season we were gifted a series of scandals, swimsuits and secret girlfriends, and this year we got, uh, not much.

Season two’s winners Josh and Anna were crowned this month, surprising precisely no one. And while the cast are only just beginning their influencer careers, and maybe don’t even have a teeth whitening endorsement deal yet, 2018’s cast are basically veterans.

Let’s take a walk down memory lane and see how the cast of Love Island Australia 2018 are doing more than a year on.

After leaving Love Island, Justin Lacko bagged himself another reality TV appearance, this time on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Following his stint in the South African jungle, Justin said he had applied for The Bachelor… but he ended up not needing a third reality show as he went public with his girlfriend Anita Barone Scott in May.

This week Justin uploaded an ultrasound image to Instagram, announcing that he and Anita were expecting a baby in 2020.

“I can’t believe this is happening but it’s the best news to hear and I am very excited to share with you all that I’m going to be a daddy,” he wrote.
