Oh. Fans have noticed something kind of awkward about Brooklyn Beckham's new girlfriend.

Brooklyn Beckham, son of Victoria and David Beckham, has a new girlfriend.

Six months after the 19-year-old and his former girlfriend, actress Chloe Grace Moretz, ended their four-year relationship, Beckham is ‘Instagram official’ with model Hana Cross.

It’s great. Young love beautiful. All power to them.

Really, this wouldn’t have made us look up from our Twisties and binge-watching if not for an awkward observation pointed out by fans on the eldest Beckham son’s latest Instagram post.

The aspiring photographer shared several black and white images of himself and Cross looking predictably broody on Friday, and fans noticed the resemblance between his girlfriend and… his mum.

“Wow, she looks so much like your mum,” one user commented.

“Thought she was Victoria until I saw other pics,” wrote another.

Another added, “Pic 3 is the [spitting image] of your Mum!”

“Like a young David and a young Victoria all over again,” another user commented.

Thanks to the 90s aesthetic being back in for 2019, you could be forgiven for mistaking the photos of the 21-year-old for Posh Spice back in the day.

Yes, she's a brunette and Victoria's a brunette. But the model does have the Beckham nose and a classic 90s middle part too.

Fans also noticed how much Beckham looks like his father in the first image, sleeve tattoos and longer, slicked back hair and all.

Beckham and Cross made their first public appearance together at the British Fashion Awards in December, 2018.

Considering both Victoria and David Beckham were in attendance too, it would appear Cross fits right into the Beckham family.
