Could we love David Beckham any more? After learning about the very “normal” thing he’s got his oldest son doing on weekends, we doubt it…
Brooklyn Beckham, oldest child of David and Victoria Beckham, has scored himself a weekend job serving tea and coffee to tourists at a London coffee shop.
The 15-year-old was pursuing modelling as a career however decided to get a job because he wanted to earn his own money without cashing in on his parents celebrity status. Brookyn and his three siblings, Romeo, 11, Cruze, nine and Harper, two, all live a charmed life thanks to the empire built by their celebrity parents, but the Beckhams are keen to ensure their children never take anything for granted and are fully supportive of Brooklyn’s new job. He has already completed several shifts.
David and Victoria Beckham both came from humble beginnings and want to make sure their children learn how to fend for themselves. David Beckham struggled in school. The son of a hairdresser and a kitchen fitter, he was frequently told being a football player wasn't a proper job and he should aim lower. He has one older sister, Lynne and a younger sister Joanne and money was tight.
He recently visited the school he attended as a child - Chase Lane Primary School, in East London - in his role as an ambassador for the Sainsbury's Active Kids scheme. He told the students that he was frequently picked last when the students had to pick teams but still he loved school and worked hard.
