Brooklyn Beckham is done playing the nice guy.
On January 20, 2026, he addressed his rumoured family feud in a heated statement, saying he had "no choice" but to speak up.
In a series of lengthy Instagram stories on Tuesday, Brooklyn said he needed to set the record straight about his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, and their team and "tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed" about himself and his wife, Nicola Peltz-Beckham.
"I do not want to reconcile with my family," the 26-year-old wrote. "I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life. For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family."

Brooklyn referred to "performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships."
