1. Brittany Hockley has strongly hinted she’s heading to Bachelor in Paradise.

So it looks like the Bachelor franchise is never going to loosen its grip on our social lives and, look, we kinda don’t mind.

The next instalment we already have set our sights on – even though we still have no bloody idea who will win Ali’s heart – is Bachelor in Paradise.

And the latest rumour has us more excited about it than Christmas (which gets less and less exciting as you get older).

Why? It’s shaping up to be all-out Bachelor season 6 reunion and we are so here for it.

Along with Brooke Blurton and Cass Wood – who were confirmed to appear on the show last week – Brittany Hockley may also be heading to Fiji to find love.

How do we know?

It’s all down to a cheeky comment she made to Daily Mail Australia:

“Will I be on Paradise? I guess legally I say , ‘You will have to say wait and see.'”

Oh, we will.

One thing’s for sure: if Brittany is heading to paradise with Brooke and Cass, we’re sure they’ll have a lot to talk about over a cocktail or two…

2. Rebel Wilson responds to the backlash over her “plus-size” rom-com lead comments.

Rebel Wilson has been criticised on Twitter for claiming she is the first plus-sized woman to be the lead actress in a rom-com.

The 38-year-old Aussie will star in Isn’t It Romantic – a story about a woman who finds herself trapped inside a romantic comedy, to be released next year.

While appearing on Ellen DeGeneres’ show last week to discuss the film, Rebel commented on how proud she was to be “the first-ever plus-sized girl to be the star of a romantic comedy”.

Taking to Twitter, viewers were quick to point out that Rebel may have missed some plus-sized stars who have previously starred in rom-coms: namely Queen Latifah and Mo’Nique.

One wrote:

The Pitch Perfect star defended her statement, responding:

“Hey girl! Yeah I of course know of these movies but it was questionable as to whether: 1. Technically those actresses were plus size when filming those movies or 2. Technically those films are catorgorized/billed as a studio rom-com with a sole lead. So there’s a slight grey area.”

3. There’s already a rumour going round that The Bachelorette’s Ali Oetjen is pregnant.

Ahh, the Bachelor rumour mill is a special thing.

Remember when it tried to convince us that Cass Wood and The Honey Badger were engaged?

Good times.

Now – it’s come out with another corker of a rumour.

Ali Oetjen is pregnant with a Bachie baby.

Huh?

Yes – there is a rumour doing the rounds that Ali is pregnant by whoever she chooses, after NW claimed she appears to be sporting a baby bump.

Right.

The 32-year-old has been outspoken about her eagerness to start a family, previously stating that she wants two kids – “ideally twins”.

“I’d like one to be Heidi,” the reality star told NW earlier this year.

According to NW, frontrunners – Taite Radley, Bill Goldsmith and Todd King have also admitted to wanting kids.

So… it could be true? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Heidi King has a nice ring to it.

4. Keira Knightley says she’s just as confused with Love Actually as we are.

It’s been 18 years since the Christmas film Love Actually was released, and it seems, for some of us, the details are becoming a bit foggy.

For example, Keira Knightley, one of the main stars of the film, has admitted she can’t exactly recall whom her character ends up with in the film. In an interview with Wired, Knightley confessed she was a little lost on the ending.

As many of us for whom the movie is a Christmas staple can attest, Knightley’s character, Juliet, shares a kiss with the best friend (Andrew Lincoln) of her husband (Chiwetel Ejiofor), when he confesses his love for her.

Knightley says she remembers that bit (I mean, who wouldn’t remember that kiss), but that’s where the details become a bit foggy for her.

She told Wired: “I don’t remember, who do I end up with?… I’m with my husband, aren’t I? Aren’t I with Chiwetel Ejiofor? Yeah. I’ve only seen it once, and it was a really long time ago. Am I? Yeah, thanks. So I don’t go off with Andrew Lincoln? No. I’m with Chiwetel Ejiofor.”

But all of us Love Actually tragics already knew that, didn’t we?
