Braith Anasta shares what ex-wife Jodi Gordon did with her engagement ring on live radio.

Former Roosters star Braith Anasta has referred to his engagement ring given to ex-wife Jodi as a “bad investment” while confirming the pair have finalised their divorce.

It seems there is no love lost between the Anasta and the Home and Away star, who split in 2015 after three years of marriage during which they welcomed daughter Aleeia.

The 34-year-old retired rugby player was discussing what to get his new girlfriend Rachael Lee for her 30th birthday with KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O when things turned.

Kyle Sandilands suggested Braith give Rachael an engagement ring for the milestone birthday, to which Braith replied “please don’t say that”.

Talk then turned to whether his divorce from model and actress Jodi Anasta was finalised and he confirmed it was “all done”.

The curious radio host asked if he’d gotten the engagement ring back from Jodi.

“No way!” he replied, before muttering “That was a bad investment.”

Braith said he didn’t think his former flame was still wearing the “expensive” ring, but suggested she may have sold it and “bought a few bags” with the proceeds. Ouch.

Both seem happy post-split, with Braith telling The Daily Telegraph earlier this year that he and his personal trainer girlfriend were “extremely happy together”.

“You learn from your past relationships. Happiness is all I want. I’ve learnt over the years it is good to keep some things private so we are doing that,” he told the newspaper.

Meanwhile, Jodi has kept quiet on any potential new relationships, but continues to share adorable snaps of her and her three-year-old daughter on social media.

In April last year, the 32-year-old told The Daily Telegraph she was “really happy” for her ex.

“If he’s happy, then I’m happy.”
