This Brad Pitt photo is hiding a dark story.

You just know something is a little suss when Brad Pitt has suddenly started dressing like a TikTok-famous celebrity.

Like, this man has genuinely started to style himself like a certain singer with a penchant for spontaneous somersaults.

The 61-year-old actor has made a noticeable shift in his personal style in 2025, drawing attention for embracing a totally different style while on the press tour for his upcoming film F1.

So where did this style pivot come from?

Brad Pitt has enlisted the help of Taylor McNeill, the stylist known for working with Timothée Chalamet, as well as other high-profile clients like Kendrick Lamar and Lorde.

McNeill is credited with curating Pitt's more relaxed, much quirkier vibe during the global press tour for his new film F1.

Some have even said that Brad has started dressing like his unhinged alter ego from Fight Club, Tyler Durden.

In the past few weeks, he's seemingly dressed only in various hues of blue.

From a billowing silk in the shade periwinkle, a crushed velvet soft blue jacket and a royal blue tailored shirt — someone has clearly just done their colour chart. The result? Blue is for you!

He did mix it up while filming a segment for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon where he decided to wear every colour of the rainbow in a tie-dye two-piece. Umm. Okay, sure!

Pitt has still worn suits to the premieres, but often in unexpected colours like pink and purple.

The attention-grabbing fashion pivot comes as Pitt's fractured relationship with Angelina Jolie and their six children has remained a source of public speculation and controversy.

After nearly eight years of legal drama, Brad and Angelina officially settled their divorce in December 2024. The agreement came after Jolie originally filed for divorce in 2016, citing irreconcilable differences.

Jolie's legal team described her as "exhausted, but relieved this one part is over," while Pitt downplayed the significance, oddly telling GQ, "I don't think it was that significant. It was just something that came to fruition. Legally."

The divorce settlement did not resolve the ongoing legal battle over Château Miraval, the French winery the couple purchased together in 2011. This dispute is still expected to come to trial at a later date.

Reports suggest that Pitt's relationship with his children — especially the older ones, Maddox, Pax, and Zahara — has deteriorated to the point of total estrangement. Many of the children have reportedly distanced themselves, with some dropping Pitt's surname in favour of 'Jolie'.

Pitt is said to maintain only a limited relationship with his younger children, Knox and Vivienne.

The rift became highly public when a message from Pax, posted on Instagram for Father's Day in 2020 but only recently made public, directly addressed Pitt:

"Happy Father's Day to this world-class asshole! Time and again you keep showing that you're a terrible and despicable person," Pax wrote.

"You'll never understand the damage you've done to my family because you're incapable of doing so. So happy Father's Day, damn horrible human being."

The crux of the divorce traces back to a 2016 incident on a private jet, which prompted Jolie to file for divorce and seek full custody.

Jolie alleged that Pitt was verbally and physically abusive and his behaviour traumatised their children. Pitt was cleared of wrongdoing after investigations by authorities.

News stories about Brad's alleged behaviour and his estrangement from his kids have dominated the news cycle in recent years. With all this in mind, his decision to suddenly make some sartorial waves could be a strategic move to garner some positive — or just different — press.

A few random, headline-grabbing news stories are especially needed right now for Pitt, who not only stars in but also served as a producer of F1, an action-packed story about Formula 1 racing being marketed as a wholesome, family film. Especially since the film has recently been marred by another controversy involving actress Simone Ashley.

It's likely not a coincidence either that Brad's partner Ines de Ramon has been glued to his side for every red carpet appearance for F1, presenting the actor as a dedicated and loving boyfriend. Instead of a man still in the midst of an ongoing legal battle over land with his ex-wife.

But for Brad Pitt, it could be an uphill battle to change the minds of people who have already decided they're Team Angelina in the split, no matter how many shiny blue shirts he slides into.
