Brad Pitt isn't sharing the specifics of his Save the Date card — but he will say that his wedding day to Angelina Jolie isn't too far off, especially if their six kids have anything to say about the subject.
"I am getting more pressure from my kids, and it is something I want to do within their lifetime, but I also feel like the time has come," Pitt said Monday night at the premiere of his new hitman drama, Killing Them Softly, in New York.
Pitt, 48, and Jolie, 37, have been engaged since this spring but have been together for more than seven years. They famously have six children together: Maddox, 11, Pax, 8, Zahara, 7, Shiloh, 6, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 4.
"The time is nigh," he added. "It's soon. I got a good feeling about it."
But as for how soon is "soon," Pitt told Extra he didn't know (or at least wouldn't say): "We really don't [have a date]," the actor promised during an interview on November 26. "I don't know what's going to happen in two weeks. I certainly don't know what the new year is going to bring!"
Pitt, who has been in London filming World War Z this month, joked to Extra, "We may just tape it and then you can air it!"
Despite their many years as partners and parents together, Pitt says a wedding will still be meaningful: "We've had a family, we've raised the kids," he told People. "I am surprised how much [marriage] meant to me once you had that."
