Two months on from her daughter’s tragic death, Morgan Miller has shared a heartbreaking photo in the hopes other parents won’t have to go through the same traumatic experience.
Morgan, who is married to America’s most successful Winter Olympian Bode Miller, shared a photo of her cradling her 19-month-old daughter Emeline Grier in her arms as she received oxygen.
The couple’s daughter passed away in June after making her way into a neighbour’s backyard and drowning in their Southern California swimming pool.
Although paramedics initially believed Emeline would survive the ordeal, they were unable to revive her.
“I wish I could have one more day to hold you,” Morgan wrote on Instagram yesterday.
“But until that day comes, continue to work through me and give me the strength to bring awareness, my love,” she added.
“I told you as I held you in this moment that you could still change the world, you could still move mountains… your footprint will be forever left on this world. I love you, my baby girl.”
