Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown dies, aged 22.

A life cut so very short. Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, has died.

The daughter of legendary singer Whitney Houston, 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown has passed away.

Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub in January by her husband, Nick Gordon and has been unresponsive ever since.

The 22-year-old was recently moved to a hospice in the US state of Georgia.

According to a statement released by the Houston family to Entertainment Tonight, Bobbi Kristina passed away surrounded by her loved ones.

“She is finally at peace in the arms of God,” the statement said.

“We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

When Brown was found, police said there was no reason to believe drugs were involved and they weren’t investigating suspicious circumstances.

Brown spent months in a medically induced coma at a hospital in Georgia before being moved to a rehabilitation centre. She was moved to a hospice on June 24.

It’s been just over three years since Bobbi Kristina’s mother, legendary singer Whitney Houston, died in eerily similar circumstances after an accidental drowning in a bathtub on February 11, 2012.

Pat Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, released a statement to ET after she was moved to the hospice.

“Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition has continued to deteriorate,” Pat Houston told ET on June 24.

“We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God’s hands now.”

When she was in a coma, Bobbi Kristina’s father, Bobby Brown released a statement that read: “Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time.”
