Every moment from Bluey that has horrified Americans.

Look, we all know Bluey is an absolute cultural phenomenon.

But while Aussies are sitting here nodding along to familiar scenes of backyard cricket and Christmas lunch traditions, our American friends are having their minds completely blown by some very normal aspects of Australian life.

Let's unpack the moments that have left Americans utterly baffled this year:

The paper crown crisis.

When the Bluey 'Christmas Lunch' episode dropped, Americans completely lost it over... paper crowns.Yep, those flimsy paper crowns we get as our little reward for being on the winning end of a Christmas cracker? They don't do such things in the US of A.And now thinking about, if you didn't have such a Commonwealth-y tradition, then that image of the characters sitting around the lunch table wearing different coloured crowns does look a little sus.

A scene from the 'Daddy Robot' episode went viral on social media when a Facebook user named Amanda posted a still from the episode, circling a specific object. In a bush, she questioned why/if a wine bottle was snuck into the graphic.

Aussies quickly jumped into the discussion, saying that no, it's not a giant wine bottle and is instead… a cricket bat.

They then had to explain… what cricket is.

Good fun.

The great sherbet debate.

In the Bluey forum on Reddit, a user posted an image of Bluey eating sherbet and they were very confused.

"They're calling this 'sherbet', but it looks like a giant pixie stick to me" one person wrote. "In the US, sherbet is like ice cream, so is it something else in Australia?"

Yes my dude, it's something else.

Note to self: Ask for sherbet in the US when I want ice cream.

"I'm not going to the ehpowt."

My absolute favourite Bluey moment was when people lost their minds over Bingo's pronunciation of "airport".

The audio of Bingo saying "ehpowt" went viral internationally with TikTok users filming themselves re-enacting the episode scene.

Bins out for Bluey.

So, apparently we're the only ones who say "wheelie bins". Who knew? Well, I guess we do… now. Honestly, I think everyone should adopt our term. Garbage bins? Ew. Trash? Gross. Wheelie bins? Cute and quirky. Look at us starting trends.

The bush wee… incident.

This one's very interesting, and I'm not convinced that this is an actual thing. The concept of a "bush wee" has apparently led to some interesting conversations.

This Reddit post where a user asked "Do you Aussies just pee in the bushes regularly or is it just for kids in an emergency?" was met with concerned comments from Aussies asking "What do you do when you have a long road trip and have to stop on the side of the highway?"

Look— I knew that peeing in bushes was a thing, but I myself didn't know it was such a common occurrence that we had a term for it. I do feel sorry for some American parents in the comments who had to explain to their children that no… you can't just pee in the middle of the playground. Whoopsie.

Justice for bin chickens.

This one didn't really confuse Americans more than confirm a fake name.

If you're Aussie, you know that we have a special name for a particular bird. Everyone refers to Ibis as bin chickens because, well, they're always in bins.

In the same vein, Americans call raccoons 'trash pandas', so I guess some cultural references manage to cross international boarders?

What a beautiful realisation.
