Gather 'round, beauty pals. Because our favourite day of the year is almost here. No, not Christmas Day. It's Black Friday. Obviously.

It's on the 24th of November, so mark your calendar, polish your bank cards and start making a list of all the products you want to snatch up on sale — for yourself, your mum, Secret Santa, the kind old woman next door, etc.

And if you need help to figure out exactly what to spend on, that's why you have little old me. Because as someone who has tried approximately all the products, I know exactly what's worth spending on.

To help you navigate the overwhelming sales chaos, I've pulled together some of my favourite brands and products you need to shop.

Here are all the best beauty products I have my eye on in the Black Friday sales.

No, but have you tried it yet? My skin always looks infinitely better when it's part of my routine. If you struggle with breakouts or dullness and have some money to spend, use this. It's filled with antioxidants like vitamins C, E, and ferulic acid for brighter, more even skin. I only ever get it when it's on sale, but it's so worth it IMHO.

L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil, $42.

IYKYK. This stuff is such a cult buy for a reason. It's hydrating, makes your skin feel silky and soft and it smells like an absolute dream. If you haven't ever tried it, there's never been a better time.

Medik8 Crystal Retinal 1, $85.

In case you're not a skin scientist, retinal is like retinol on steroids. It's faster acting and a heavy-lifter when it comes to reducing fine lines and improving skin tone and texture. Medik8 has an impressive retinal line-up, with Crystal Retinal 1 kicking it off as the milder formulation (it goes all the way up to 10). Perfect for beginners. (Just go slow, yeah?).

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, $105.

This is one of my all-time fave foundations but it's also spendy — so I usually wait for the sales to snap it up. I love this formula because it's beautifully lightweight and silky and honestly feels like you're wearing nothing at all. Plus, it's great if you have dry skin, that's prone to flakiness and tantrums. 

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, $31.

Something you need to know: The cult Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask will always make the cut. Gummy Bear is my favourite flavour, but they're all good. I slap a thick layer of it on my lips before bed and they feel lovely and hydrated come morning.

Kérastase Elixir Ultime Original Hair Oil, $73.

I can't live without a hair oil, and Kérastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil is such a stellar all-rounder. It makes my hair shiny, healthy and frizz-free and also acts as a heat protector. Also, just makes my mop smell really bloody good.

Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant, $45.

I like it because I find it stupidly effective. It does some remarkably nice things to my pores (takes all the gross s**t out of them), while brightening and making the skin look healthier and happier. You can't go past this one.

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand in Peachgasm, $60.

Any makeup aficionado will know the buzz around Charlotte Tilbury's famous light wands — I literally use mine every single day. This is my all-time favourite — it's a highlight-blush situation that gives you the most glorious soft, glowing, peachy-coloured cheeks, and makes me feel instantly feel more put together.

Gucci Rouge à Lèvres Satin Lipstick, $72.

Oh! So fancy! If you're looking to seriously treat yourself or give someone special a little slice of luxury this Christmas, you absolutely cannot go wrong with this Gucci lipstick. The formula is creamy, highly pigmented and lasts the distance, while the gold, engraved packaging is just insanely pretty.

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Multi-Recovery Complex, $238.

This do-it-all face serum from Estee Lauder is one of those products you have to try at least once in your life. Sorry, we don't make the rules. My complexion always feels really plump, hydrated and smooth post-application. Grab it while you can.

Benefit Cosmetics Benetint Cheek & Lip Tint, $30.

This product was created all the way back in 1977 when an exotic dancer walked into Benefit's tiny makeup store and asked for a nipple stain. Formally known as Benefit’s Rose Tint, Benetint is now used as a tint for your cheeks and lips - and it's just as popular as it was back in the day. It's a makeup bag staple for me (and like eleven billion others).
