Autumn is almost here, and while I'll certainly miss the long warmer days, I'm so ready to swap my summer wardrobe for all things cosy.

This season is all about luxurious winter textures — statement knits, chic boots and wonderfully cosy jumpers. Colour is key, with berry and burgundy tones having a moment — and for good reason. They're simply stunning.

I have always loved a fun statement jacket and this one is simply stunning. The mock suede is super comfortable and instantly makes any outfit look more put-together.

I've already been playing around with different ways to style it and love how it elevates a casual pair of boyfriend jeans and a white tee but also looks super chic with a shift dress and boots.

Scandinavian fashion is my ultimate cold-weather inspiration (and also my Pinterest obsession!). I'm all about cosy cardigans, layered outfits, scarves and bows.

This cardi fits perfectly with this aesthetic and is also great for layering under a trench coat or bomber jacket when the temperature drops.

I have been loving burgundy this season — it's a universally flattering colour and adds some vibrancy to my outfits, especially when it's cold and I need that extra serotonin boost from what I'm wearing on a dreary day.

I've been styling this for the office with dark denim high-waisted jeans and sneakers or a skirt and loafers — it looks effortlessly chic and is so cosy too.

Jeans are my most-worn item in the cooler months, so I always invest in a timeless pair that will last for seasons. I've been searching for the perfect wide-leg high-waisted style, and BIG W has absolutely nailed it with these.

I LOVE a bargain (cossie livs and all), and these sneakers are not only super cute — they're only $25.

I like to keep a variety of sneakers in rotation because I choose comfort over everything else when it comes to shoes, and I love anything practical and stylish. These Slimline Sneakers have become a permanent fixture in my rotation — I've been pairing them with jeans, linen pants and skirts on warmer days.

Quilted bombers are everywhere right now, and I've been wanting to add one to my collection of jackets ever since I saw fashion influencer Anna Barger rocking one in Paris. This one is neutral enough that it will go with most things you already have in your wardrobe without being a block colour. And for only $35, it's a steal.

Tailored to be flattering on anyone and also super cosy, this quilted bomber is perfect for layering. I can already picture it with a scarf, jeans and either sneakers, loafers or ballet flats.

Loafers are having a moment, and I am here for it. If you're like me and are a comfort-over-everything-else girlie but still want to look chic and put-together, these loafers are an essential for your autumn wardrobe. They're the perfect step up from sneakers, making you look more polished, yet are still SO comfortable. I love the chunky heel on this pair and the gold detailing makes them look extra luxurious.

I've been wearing them with a skirt and stockings, tailored slacks and wide-leg jeans for a more relaxed look.

While jeans are a winter staple for me, I do often crave having a little more fun and variety with my outfits, and putting on a skirt, stockings and boots or loafers instantly makes me feel more put-together. The marble denim and belted waist give this piece a sophisticated, slightly dressier look, perfect for after-work drinks, dinners and everything in between.

I've been wearing this with my burgundy cardigan, stockings and loafers when I want to look effortlessly put-together for the office or when I have evening plans. When it's cooler, I pop on my camel trench coat, which keeps me warm and really pulls the look together.
