Holly and Colin's romance has taken over Big Brother. A housemate told us what you don't see on TV.

Holly has quickly become the most monopolising housemate in the Big Brother house.

The 31-year-old model from WA has gotten into multiple war of words with Connor, made some not-so-great comments about 'pretty privilege', enraged most of her fellow housemates by letting her Head of House title go straight to her head, and this week, she was the subject of a 'family meeting' over cruel comments she made about school teacher, Emily.

Practically everyone in the house has had an issue with Holly at one stage during the show — well, besides 21-year-old Colin, her house boyfriend.

Holly and Colin quickly became the season's first couple after they shared a kiss within mere days of the season starting. Since then, they have become inseperable.

It has been… a lot.

The first housemate evicted, Michael, slammed the relationship as 'a total con' at the eviction show. "Holly wants someone with more money, more rizz and a faster car," he told host Mel Tracina.

Big Brother viewers have also expressed doubts over the authenticity of this match.

Mamamia spoke to recent evictee Jane, who admitted she had a complicated relationship with Holly.

"At the very beginning, it was like, who is this girl? I really didn't have any connection," she said, but they eventually found some common ground.

"Then time went on, and then I said, 'You're doing a great job with Colin.'"

Jane didn't mince her words about Holly, claiming that her relationship with Colin isn't entirely authentic.

"They wouldn't be lovers on the outside. She's just looking after him and helping him. They have the same personality type. She's got some connections for him when he gets out, and he needs to go and run with them," she said.

"She'll be on the next plane to wherever she's got to go, but they will be friends. But I don't think there will be any intimacy."

Another housemate evicted on Sunday, Mia, had an even worse experience with Holly.

"My natural instinct is to give people the benefit of the doubt. With Holly, I kept on trying to convince myself we can make things work, we can connect, but as soon as I would get to that place, then I would hear something that she had said or done."

"She's a model, she's got 100K followers. She has come to build a platform for herself and a name for herself."

Mia suggested that Holly was making strategic choices in the house. "She's been very strategic in the house. She's still there, so she's doing something right."

Like Jane, she doesn't 'buy' her relationship with Colin. "Honestly, I have to back up Michael. I just don't fully buy it. I've been honest about it. I've been honest with Colin about it," she continued.

"I really respect Colin. I want him to do what's best for him. But he might need to learn the hard lesson himself, eventually. He's been taken for a joyride. Holly doesn't even know his name at times. She doesn't even know what date his birthday is. I knew his birthday after one day," she continued.

"If someone doesn't know basic information about you, they probably don't have your best interests at heart. These are simple things you should know about a person —and it says a lot. But with Holly, it's really hard to know how she truly feels, because she does say one thing, and then she does another."

Holly herself has defended her relationship with Colin in the house. "I was not expecting when I walked through the doors to meet this individual, at all," she said at a family dinner.

"I would love us all to show a little bit more compassion and love together in this house because it would go a long way."

After trying to bond with Holly, Mia admits she eventually gave up. "I'd rather not have anything in common with someone who treats people the way you do," she said.

"I don't think we're fully gonna see eye to eye, but I'm sure she's keeping Australia very entertained."
