It would be different if she had a voice.

If we knew her, it would be different.

If we'd heard her voice, her opinion, her story; it wouldn't feel so weird.

If she gave interviews, told us anecdotes from her life and gave her reason, her mission, her statement; it wouldn't feel so icky.

Instead, we only really know Bianca Censori as 'Kanye West's Australian wife.'

Instead, we know her as his muse. His wife. His.

A silent, stoic, loyal 'accessory' to one of the most controversial figures in the world, who we tend to see naked, or at least partly so, quite a lot.

If headlines were the aim, it's certainly been a success. Because Censori shrugging off an enormous fur coat to reveal a see-through slip that left her completely starkers at the 2025 Grammy Awards is on the front page of every major publication on the planet.

Apparently, it was an attempt to recreate West's 2024 album cover Vultures 1, although others simply say it was a form of performance art designed to shock; we don't really know, because neither Censori or West have shared.

But their interaction prior to the reveal wasn't playful or sexy or fun; it felt directive, controlling, even. Lip readers suggest West told her to "make a scene" before she turned around and lowered her coat.

They left the event shortly after walking the red carpet.

Googling her, you won't find a lot. But even just her basic biography tells the story of an accomplished, smart woman.

The 30-year-old was born in Melbourne, created her own jewellery brand, Nylons, after graduating from high school and has a bachelor's and master's degree in architecture.

She's currently the Head of Architecture at Yeezy, Kanye West's clothing and apparel company. She married him in December 2022.

But apart from one now redacted interview with Hypebeast in 2021, in which she apparently talked about her upbringing and interest in design, there's not a single interview with Censori on the internet.

Her friends and family haven't given any either, we've only heard from them as concerned 'sources' in exclusive articles.

She has an Instagram account, but it currently only shows one post — her naked backside, seemingly, as an homage to the Grammys stunt. There's no caption to explain.

Previously there were seven or so posts on her grid — but they were very computer-generated, very impersonal, very staged. Apparently, her husband banned her from using social media, and is the one who controlled her return to it just prior to the Grammys.

The Daily Mail reports that pre-Kanye, she was an active poster, but we haven't seen that because he "doesn't want her to have it".

Instead, what we've seen from Censori over the course of their two years together, is a lot of nudity. We know her for her sheer raincoats, thong bikinis and exposed breasts above sheer body-suits. We know her from West's own Instagram, where he declared there would be "no pants this year," beside another nearly naked snap.

According to insider comments, at the end of 2023, Censori was growing tired of being treated like his "silent mute".

Behind closed doors it seems she is more than just 'his' — Deuxmoi posted photos of her apparently singing an Adele tune at the Grammy's after party.

We've also seen glimpses of smiles and laughs from her in paparazzi shots with friends.

According to the Wall Street Journal, she's the one signing sales agreements and contracts regarding West's business and property.

But as far as the public is concerned, what we're allowed to see when she's in the presence of West and a camera — is a voice-less, emotion-less wife. And according to numerous 'exclusives' floating around the internet, that appears to be all on him.

That's his choice, not hers.

We know West has a history of controlling his partners and what they wear and do — he criticised Kim Kardashian, who he was with for eight years, for being "overly sexualised". We saw in Keeping Up With The Kardashians the influence he had over her wardrobe.

He did the same with Amber Rose. With Julia Fox.

The concern for Censori after the latest naked stunt is palpable.

Audiences are genuinely concerned for this woman's welfare, because what they're seeing is triggering. Scary. A sign of a woman oppressed. A woman with no autonomy.

Not allowed a personality outside her relationship. Not allowed her own opinion.

We need to hear your voice, Bianca. Maybe then, we wouldn't worry.
