The only thing better than a very pregnant Beyonce giving birth to two of the world’s most sought-after twins is a very pregnant and secretive Beyonce pretending she hasn’t given birth at all.
This week, rumours have been rife and unrelenting that the Queen of pop has in fact become the queen of pop-ping out some little babies, with many-a-gossip site reporting twins are probably, very much in the world and no longer housed in Bey’s belly.
This time, E! News is reporting a photo doing the rounds on the internet could be the biggest hint yet that Blue Ivy has some siblings.
E! are reporting an unidentified woman was photographed Friday at a Los Angeles hospital, carrying a couple of pink and blue balloons that read, "Baby Girl" and "Baby Boy". The woman's gift also contained a card that read "B & J."
Of course, it should be noted that the B&J card was like almost like a sitting duck for the paparazzi, facing outwards and well within our line of sight.
So was this all a very elaborate Beyonce-style decoy to keep us focused on the rumour and not the reality? Perhaps.
It comes just days after The Sun reported fans claimed they had noticed increased security around the hospital where Beyonce gave birth to her daughter Blue Ivy in 2012.
It also comes after Barack Obama found himself entangled in the great Big Beyonce Baby Mess, because apparently after eight years as US President, the best he can offer us is a hint as to the gender of a celebrity's twin babies.
Listen: Beyoncé and Zoe Foster Blake set the bar high for pregnancy announcements. Post continues.
You see, Obama was quoted saying, “Jay and I are also fools for our daughters, although he’s gonna have me beat once those two twins show up”, during a video speech that aired at the rapper’s induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on Thursday.
Daughters, everyone mused, meant Beyonce had girls! Or, actually, he was talking about his daughters and Jay's daughter as one and therefore plural.
But of course, the only thing better than truth is a quick, insidious rumour, right?
