While the Aussie summer is just around the corner, our summer in Cousins Beach with Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah has sadly wrapped up. And if you're anything like us, the end of Jenny Han's The Summer I Turned Pretty has definitely left a heart-shaped hole in your TV schedule.

Because let's be real. What other show gives us love triangles we can't stop debating, swoonworthy brothers who ruin us emotionally, and the kind of nostalgic, sun-soaked summer vibes that make you want to pack your bags and move to a beach house immediately?

While some may argue that absolutely nothing can compare, we say there are, in fact, excellent options out there.

Here's exactly what to press play on next.

Dawson's Creek.

Ahh, Dawson's Creek. The OG teen drama that practically paved the way for every summer love story we've obsessively watched since.

The show follows Dawson, Joey, Pacey and Jen as they navigate first love, friendship and heartbreak in the fictional town of Capeside. If TSITP pulled at your heartstrings with its love triangle and coming-of-age themes, Dawson's Creek hits all the same notes just with '90s fashion and a tad more teenage angst.

The O.C.

Set in sunny Orange County, The O.C. is your ultimate beachside teen drama. It follows Ryan Atwood, a troubled teen taken in by the wealthy Cohen family, as he navigates love, friendship and high-school politics.

Like TSITP, this early 2000s series is full of swoonworthy romances that will have you squealing and sobbing (Seth and Summer are basically the blueprint for Belly and Conrad), complicated love triangles and summer vibes so strong you'll want to binge all four seasons in a single weekend.

XO, Kitty.

ICYMI, TSITP isn't Jenny Han's only book-to-screen hit. The author also gave us XO, Kitty, a spin-off from the To All the Boys I've Loved Before film franchise.

Instead of continuing Lara Jean's story, the show shifts focus to her little sister Kitty, who heads to South Korea for school — only to find herself juggling academics, grief, and not one but THREE potential love interests.

If you thought Belly's love triangle was complicated, Kitty will have you screaming at the screen.

My Life With The Walter Boys.

This one's tailor-made for anyone who loved the chaotic Fisher house dynamic. After a family tragedy, 15-year-old Jackie moves in with the Walter family, which just so happens to include 10 (!) brothers. Between sibling rivalries, new friendships and an inevitable love triangle, it's giving TSITP with a Colorado ranch twist.

Sex Education.

This British teen dramedy has a cult following for a reason. It follows Otis, a socially awkward teen whose mum is (unfortunately for him) a sex therapist. He ends up running a secret underground clinic for his classmates alongside his crush, Maeve.

Yes, it's laugh-out-loud awkward and very cheeky, but beneath the jokes lies a heartfelt story about first loves, identity and friendship. Like TSITP, it balances the sweetness of teenage romance with the messiness of growing up. It's guaranteed you'll laugh, cry and cringe in equal measure.

Gilmore Girls.

It would be an actual crime not to include Gilmore Girls here. This cult-favourite follows mother-daughter duo Lorelai and Rory Gilmore as they navigate small-town life, generational clashes and (of course) plenty of teenage romances.

It's comforting, nostalgic and endlessly rewatchable. Just like TSITP, the heart of the show lies in complicated family bonds and the ups and downs of growing up.

Ginny & Georgia.

TSITP isn't just about romance — family drama plays a huge role, too. And if you loved that balance, Ginny & Georgia will hook you immediately.

The series follows teen Ginny, along with her free-spirited mother Georgia and younger brother Austin, as they try to settle down in Massachusetts. But just when Ginny thinks she can finally live a normal teen life, the skeletons in Georgia's closet start spilling out.

Add in teen romances and love triangles galore, and you've got another messy-but-addictive watch.

One Day.

If you screamed at Belly's will-they-won't-they moments, One Day will destroy you in the best way possible. This limited series (based on David Nicholls' bestselling novel) follows Emma and Dexter, who meet at uni in 1988.

Every episode revisits them on the same date over the next 20 years as their lives intersect, drift apart and collide again. It's emotional, romantic and heart-wrenching (basically TSITP times ten).

Daisy Jones & The Six.

While this series may have fewer beach houses and more backstage passes, the vibes are very much the same. Daisy Jones & The Six tells the story of a fictional 1970s rock band, following their rise to fame and the tangled love stories behind the music.

Much like TSITP, it's about first love, longing and heartbreak, just with extra eyeliner and some serious Fleetwood Mac energy.

One Tree Hill.

One Tree Hill is of the same prestigious calibre as The O.C. and Dawson's Creek. The early-2000s teen drama has everything you want: tangled romances, messy friendships and more love triangles than you can count.

If you fell hard for Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah's complicated dynamic, you'll eat up the small-town drama of Lucas, Peyton, Brooke and Nathan. It's angsty, dramatic and endlessly bingeable.

Maxton Hall.

While you'll have to watch this with subtitles on, Maxton Hall is Germany's answer to TSITP. Set in an elite private school, the series is about Ruby, a scholarship student, who accidentally discovers a huge secret about arrogant rich boy James.

Naturally, enemies-to-lovers chaos ensues.

Heartstopper.

This British series follows Charlie and Nick as their friendship blossoms into a tender first love. Like TSITP, it's wholesome and deeply emotional, but with an LGBTQ+ lens that makes it even more special.
