A thing you need to know: I'm not loyal when it comes to moisturisers and face cream. Like, I really get around. Because no matter what all the marketing wizards out there try to push, it's one of those areas in your routine where expensive doesn't mean better — and you can find some stellar formulas at the chemist that do exactly the same thing as the stuff in fancy gold packaging.
It's true! I've tried MANY different formulas, and have found that as long as they contain certain moisture-boosting ingredients — ceramides, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide — you really can't go wrong.
But, friends, I've recently come across a really good one that I just gotta tell you about. In fact, I spoke all about it on a recent episode of Spendy Savey on the You Beauty podcast.
Watch: Speaking of things I've put on my face, here's the time I applied 10 pumps of foundation. Post continues below.
It's called Sukin Aquaboost 3D Hyaluronic Acid Rich Night Cream, and it's usually $30 but you can get it from Chemist Warehouse right now for a very cheeky and delightful $15.
We love a cream that isn't $200!
As I shared with Kelly McCarren on the podcast, this newbie is just a really wonderful time for your face. It's like a big ol' lick of hydration, and my dry skin is here for it. Applied at night, come morning, everything feels plump, hydrated and fresh.
