Calling all my dry skin-having friends. This article was written for you. And your flakes.

On a recent episode of the You Beauty podcast, my co-host Kelly McCarren and I were asked to share products we personally swear by for our dry skin.

So off we went to our bathroom cupboards to examine not only the dry skin skincare we love, but products we've been using and recommending for years.

WATCH: Leigh Campbell talks about the next cult product from Alpha-H. Post continues below.

A quick refresher on the difference between having dry skin and dehydrated skin. (Although you can have both, fun!)

Dry skin is a skin type that lacks in oil. You're either born with dry skin, or your skin can become drier over time due to hormonal fluctuations (i.e. during pregnancy and menopause).

Dehydrated skin lacks water. It's usually temporary and due to external factors; all skin types can experience dehydration, even oily skin.

To combat the lack of natural oil in dry skin, look for products that contain moisturising factors and ingredients like lipids, ceramides and squalane.

Kelly and I both have dry skin, and we love sharing our dry skin product recommendations.

From cleansers and exfoliants, to serums, moisturisers and face oils, keep scrolling for the best products for dry skin, no matter your budget.
