One of the perks of working at Mamamia is occasionally having my makeup professionally done for video shoots.

It's not just about looking camera-ready (though the selfie opportunities are definitely a bonus).

I love getting an inside look at what's in my makeup artist's kit, discovering the newest products they're using, and picking their brains for insider tips.

Especially now I am 42, I need all the tips.

Jaclyn Nitko has been my go-to hair and makeup artist for the past couple of years, and each session with her, the panda-like dark rings and circles disappear from under my eyes.

And my pigmentation seems to disappear (goodbye sun damage).

Of course, whenever she works her magic on me, the results are flawless and stay put all day long. She's incredibly talented and knows exactly what she's doing, she's a pro.

But I genetically have dark circles under my eyes. They are a permanent feature of my face. And I can never fully make them disappear with my concealer or powders.

But when Jac does my make-up, it's like magic, panda eyes be-gone!

So, naturally, I asked her what she uses on me and why it is so miraculous.
