If you're a teen (or have a teen in your life), you might need to start packing your school bag!

Along with your fresh notebooks and pencils, (if you even still use paper in schools? Is it all electronic now? I'm choosing to believe there is still paper), you might need a beauty product or two to keep you fresh and prepared for anything that the school day throws at you.

It may have been 10 years since I was at school, but I was indeed a teen once, and I distinctly remember my decked out locker and massive school bag full of snacks and sanitary pads, so here's a list of products you might find useful.

The must-buy beauty products for teenagers.

Spare deodorant.

Just in case you have to run for the bus, let's pop a spare natural deodorant into your bag!

Stay sun smart.

We often say there are no rules for beauty, but there kind of is one: wear SPF.

Almost every teenager will get them at some point, not to mention, a lot of adults still deal with this as well (this may or may not be me).

So I usually have a set of tbh Skincare patch it up — everyday pimple patches in my bag. They are small and discreet but protect the area around the pimple from oils and bacteria, and stop you from accidentally picking at them!

They also absorb oils and help reduce inflammation, so your breakouts should be a little less red by the time you take them off.

The only caveat is to make sure your skin is clean before applying, so if you're going to pop on a pimple patch at school, make sure you cleanse beforehand.

Mist the day away.

This isn't a necessity, but it's a bit of fun: a perfume mist.

Moisturise those dry bits.

We may as well go a step further and pack moisturiser in our bags as well, especially if you're the kind of person who gets itchy or dry elbows or hands during the day!
