Ben Affleck threatens to sue Us Weekly.

Ben Affleck, 42, is certainly not happy that his name is making the papers.

Especially because it’s for all the wrong reasons, says the actors PR rep.

It was confirmed only a few weeks ago that wonder-couple of 10 years Ben and Jennifer (or Bennifer as they had come to be known) were filing for divorce. The office momentarily gave up hope on all chances of everlasting love.

And then we remembered this is Hollywood. And in Hollywood, you can’t get divorced without a salacious cheating scandal.

We had such hope.

Us Weekly released reports that claim Ben got at little too close to the Affleck-Garner families one-time nanny Christine Ouzounian, 28, who was only hired while Ben and Jennifer took a "break" earlier this year. That break did happen to last a good ten months, but what's important to note here is that the allegations are completely untrue.

The magazine even went so far as to suggest that Jennifer, 43, found out about Ben's wandering eye and fired Christine immediately. "Insiders" claimed that Ben and the nanny had been talking about living together and she was saying it was "true love."

What a headline.

Christine was helping take care of Ben and Jennifer's three children Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3, and was spotted going on shopping expeditions with them. But that's as close as she got.

Ben's rep told various media outlets that “the story is complete garbage and full of lies. You shouldn’t be able to hide behind ‘blind sources’ and attempt to destroy families going through a difficult time. We're considering legal action. The tabloid decided to construct stories in order to sell magazines. It’s like story time in kindergarten. It’s shameful and desperate."

But this isn't the first time cheating allegations have rocked the Beverly Hills boat. Some of our favourite leading men have allegedly been caught. Whether it's true or not... well, that's another story.
