The inevitable news that no one wanted to hear.
Bali’s chief prosecutor has confirmed that Myuran Sukumaran and Andrew Chan will be moved on Wednesday to Nusakambangan Island, where they will be executed.
Prosecutor Momock Bambang Samiarso met with officials today to co-ordinate the move of the Australian Bali 9 drug traffickers, which he has confirmed will now take place tomorrow at noon.
“Co-ordination has been completed, it (the transfer) will be implemented tomorrow at noon,” he told reporters.
Mr Momock said that preparations had now been made for the transfer -including military aircrafts.
The pair may be executed within a number of days, but will be given a minimum of 72 hours notice.
The exact time will depend on the transfer of nine other prisoners who will also face the firing squad.
More to come.
