We know what WE did in the hours after we learned Matty J had left Singapore a single man and Georgia Love had sailed off into the sunset with Lee instead.
(Hint: it involved a lot of tears, and ice cream and possibly some tequila. Don’t judge us.)
But what did Matty J do after Georgia told him she had fallen in love with someone else? Turns out, it’s just as heartbreaking.
“I was in such shock. And we were on the rooftop of the Sofitel so I had to walk back down to the foyer and hop into a lift,” he told Mamamia.
The moment Matty realised he wasn’t the one. Post continues after video.
“A lot of the crew were standing around, on either side of the corridor with their heads bowed, telling me it was going to be okay. It’s almost like you are being sent off to be executed and you’re never to be seen again.”

Oh, Matty, that doesn’t sound fun. That doesn’t sound fun AT ALL.
The 29-year-old was then moved to a separate hotel to the couple (because you know that would have been a very awkward breakfast buffet the next morning), where he let his emotions out.
“That’s when I had a beer and called my mum and told her the news. I had a bit of a cry,” he said.
“As soon as I got to the hotel room, I shut the door and called my mum and just hearing her voice, all of the emotion came pouring out.”
