1. The Bachelor photoshoot pictures are here and they’re even more cringey the second time around.

On last night’s episode of The Bachelor, we were scarred by the happenings of the annual photo shoot.

You know the one, where the oestrogen is high in the air, and all the main characters get to have a staring roles while the montage ladies stand awkwardly around in the background?

2. Bachelor contestant Shannon Baff is “deeply sorry” for using a racist slur on Instagram.

Uh oh. Shannon Buff, the first Bachie contestant to score a single date with the Honey Badger, has apologised for using the n-word in two Instagram posts.

She had used the slur as part of a hashtag on posts from earlier this year. Both photos include her and a male friend who is a person of colour.

A Network Ten spokesman said Baff was “deeply sorry” for her use of the word.

“Shannon has removed the hashtags and is deeply sorry for any offence she may have caused.”

A piece of advice to future reality TV stars: triple check your social media for anything offensive or controversial and get rid of it before the show airs.

3. Sophie Turner explains why she was crying in a photo with Joe Jonas. We can all relate.

Sophie Turner had a bad day on Thursday. It's a day  many women can relate to, but for most women, these days aren't caught on camera by the paparazzi.

As the images of Turner crying into her fiance's shoulder in New York City went viral, everybody speculated what had gone on. Had they separated? Had somebody died?

Luckily, the 22-year-old Game of Thrones actress set the record straight, letting everyone know she just had her period.

“Lol. Thank god I have a loving fiancé. Periods are a bitch,” Turner wrote candidly on Twitter.

While some users weren't convinced, others shared stories of excruciating period pain, often the result of endometriosis.

" I woke up from pain at 4am and presently cannot move due to my cramps. It’s a pain radiating through my abdomen and up my spine. PCOS and endo are common and not a walk in the park," wrote one user.

"Endometriosis is very painful, I suffered for many years. Had surgery for infertility, found out I had endometrial tissue everywhere even on my lungs.. I’ve also been through menopause, equally crappy but not as painful as endometriosis .. I’m sorry you are suffering too," wrote another.

One thing is for sure, there is no image as relatable as Sophie Turner crying about her period in the middle of the street.

Tara Reid left TODAY Extra hosts chuckling awkwardly this morning, as she slurred her way through an interview about the sixth and final instalment of the Sharknado film series.

Deborah Knight and David Campbell struggled to keep the 42-year-old American actor on script as she spoke about the "so bad it's good" movie.

Questioned whether it was true she thought the film wouldn't work, Reid instead responded with a story about shark nets she once saw during a trip to the Gold Coast: “Where the netting was, it was unbelievable; there was so many stingrays and sharks. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. And then you see like, little kids playing on the beach, I’m like, ‘Oh my god, do they have any idea what’s on the other side of those nets?’"

Reid, who first earned fame via teen comedy American Pie, also told the hosts she is hopeful for a reboot of the 1999 film.

“I was at one of the Emmy parties and I ran into the directors and the writers of American Pie and I was like, ‘come on guys, when are making the next American Pie?’ And they both looked at me and they’re like, ‘soon Tara, it’s gonna happen,’” she said.

5. A new Bieber has been born into the world.

Baby, baby, baby oh.

A new Bieber is born.

It's not Justin and Hailey's (yet) but rather the addition of Beiber's new step-sister, "Bay Bieber".

The 24-year-old made the announcement on Instagram late last night, captioning the post "Meet the newest bieber, my little sister BAY BIEBER".

Jeremy, the star’s father, married his girlfriend Chelsey back in February whilst she was pregnant with Bay.

Apart from the newborn’s gorgeous smile, we couldn’t help but notice the interesting name choice.

Whenever someone addresses his new sibling by her first name and last initial, she’ll be referred to as ‘Bay B’…which coincidentally is the same name as one of JB’s original hits “Baby”.
