Bachelor In Paradise star speaks for the first time after being accused of sexual assault.

Bachelor In Paradise star, DeMario Jackson has shared his version of “the wildest night” that forced Warner Bros. to halt filming amid sexual assault claims.

Just days after the reality series resumed filming after the conclusion of the production company’s independent investigation, the man accused of sexually assaulting fellow contestant, Corinne Olympios while filming a pool scene has said he feels the human race has failed them both.

"The minute you release this black man's face and this white girls face, before either of us commented on it, I was already a ‘rapist... she's a whore and she's a slut," Jackson told E News in an exclusive interview.

"They were slut shaming her... for me it was, again back to the human race, we failed."

Jackson, who crew members alleged "appeared to be having intercourse" with a "limp" and intoxicated Olympios also eluded to being set up into the situation by producers.

"It’s crazy because when you’re a man — mostly African-American man — no matter where you’re at, you always look for things that can help you out. And at that moment, I made sure the cameras followed us," he said.

"It just seemed too perfect in a sense for me, and at the point, that’s when my spidey senses got up. I was the villain for this, straight up."

According to Jackson's recollection of events, he and Olympios "complimented each other on being villains" (as Olympios believed herself to be the villain in the most recent series of The Bachelor) before making out at the bar.

"It got a little hot and heavy... and we started making out," he told E News.

He claimed she then suggested they go to the swimming pool, where "things got wild".

After the pair moved to the pool and removed their bathing suits, Jackson claims Olympios aggressively initiated oral sex. The following morning, the two were supposedly on good terms, with Jackson saying, "We were talking, and I gave her a hug."

He said it wasn't until a producer told him to remove his microphone and suggested "it would be best for everyone" if he leave the show because "something bad's about to go down" that he suspected anything was wrong.

In a statement released to PEOPLE Magazine last week, Warner Bros. confirmed production on the show would resume, saying "our internal investigation, conducted with the assistance of an outside law firm, has now been completed."

The studio added that although a videotape of the incident would not be released, the footage does not support any claims of misconduct:

"Nor does the tape show, contrary to many press reports, that the safety of any cast member was ever in jeopardy."

The production company have dismissed claims of wrongdoing made by multiple crew members, with the reality star's lawyer, Marty Singer confirming they will be proceeding with a further independent investigation.

"Our own investigation will continue based on multiple new witnesses coming forward revealing what they saw and heard,"he said.

Speaking out about the incident via a statement last week, Olympios said, "I am a victim… Although I have little memory of that night, something bad obviously took place."

According to E!, a crew member alerted producers to the alleged sexual assault after witnessing what they believed to be non-consensual sexual activity.

"There was hugging and kissing and touching, but before long, she seemed to go limp and was sliding under water. Demario kept trying to hold her up and at the same time he appeared to be having intercourse with her."
