It seems outgoing Bachelor in Paradise contestant Blake Colman was utterly heartbroken leaving the show in Monday night’s episode – and not because of “Lenora”.
The former Sophie Monk suitor claimed a lot didn’t make it to the final cut of the show – including the connection between him and another island-dweller.
Apparently, Blake and Megan Marx were once upon a time a thing – and we the viewers were not given so much as an inkling.
LISTEN: Jessie Stephens points out the Bachelor In Paradise issue no one seems to have noticed yet. Post continues.
In an Instagram post Blake shared after he didn’t receive a rose in the most recent ceremony, the 30-year-old said there were several things he “wished made it to edit” but didn’t.
Number four on his list were “the good times” he spent with Megan.
“I have never felt what I felt when we hung out and I want to thank you for showing me how to truly love another person again,” he wrote.
So when Megan called out Jake’s name… yep, she was breaking Blake’s heart.
“I know you had a tough decision and although I broke down in my next day interviews because I missed you already, I totally respect your choice because I know Jakey will def make you happy as he is such a legend of a man.”
If this is true, then there was yet another love triangle involving Jake Ellis on Bachelor in Paradise. (That’s Jake+Flo+Davey, Jake+Flo+Megan and Jake+Megan+Blake.) And perhaps that’s why the producers chose not to include this “story line”.
Blake, who is an ambassador for mental health promotion group HappinessCo, said there were several other moments that were left out of the show, including a conversation we thought we’d never see.
