The full cast of Bachelor in Paradise 2019 has been released.

Over the last week, Channel 10 has gradually been releasing the names of the Bachelor in Paradise Australia cast for 2019.

We had the awkward combination of Alex Nation and Richie Strahan, as well as Cat Henesy and Alisha Aitken-Radburn. Then, a very exciting trailer was released focusing on Brooke Blurton and Cass Wood, making it clear that a number of familiar faces from Honey Badger’s season of The Bachelor will be returning for a second chance at love/a free holiday to Fiji.

Now, the show has released a cast photo featuring 12 contestants – one of whom is back for a second season of Bachelor in Paradise.

The full cast, so far, consists of:

Paddy, from Ali Oetjen’s season of The Bachelorette.

Rachael, from Richie Strahan’s season of The Bachelor. 

Bill, from Ali Oetjen’s season of The Bachelorette.

Brittney Weldon (not Hockley), from Nick Cummins’ season of The Bachelor.

A random (allegedly American) dude named Alex Bordyukov.

James, from Sophie Monk’s season of The Bachelorette.

Shannon, from Nick Cummins’ season of The Bachelor. 

Nathan, from Ali Oetjen’s season of The Bachelorette.

As well as Brooke, Cat, Alisha and Cass – and (not pictured) Alex and Richie.

And because Vanessa Sunshine (from Nick Cummins’ season of The Bachelor and our favourite contestant in the history of forever) likes to do things her way, she announced she’d be returning to our screen on her Instagram today, with the apt caption: “Allow me to reintroduce myself: ‘I’m Vanessa f*cking Sunshine!'”

So far, Rachael Gouvignon is the only cast member appearing on Bachelor in Paradise for a second time, after her fleeting romance with Thomas on last year’s season.

Rumours emerged late last year that Bill and Alex start a relationship on the show, with paparazzi photos being released of the two spending time together in Melbourne.

Since then, however, they’ve both been remarkably quiet.

As a side note – remember when Nathan and Paddy had a full-blown fight on The Bachelorette? Let’s hope the tension between them has just been simmering for months.
