What would you say if we told you the key to understanding Modern And Contemporary Dance lay in the wisdom and grace of a little baby?

Only last week we saw the adorable toddler who had the hip swivels to rival Ricky Martin. Now we have a child sensation whose speciality lies in that of Modern And Contemporary Dance.

In this video the tiny dude is surrounded by three other dancers who mimic and copy his moves. Completely unfazed, he leads the team through an interpretive and magical dance routine, that includes spins and some graceful floor moves.

We’ve interpreted this dance as a classic and thought-provoking piece of what it’s like to be a 14-month old child. From the starting moves of holding up his pants to indicate a full nappy, to the sliding sleep signifying the afternoon nap and finally the ending move of the hands over the mouth, to demonstrate shock that once again he’s being forced to eat mashed food for dinner… (oh and P.S… the nappy is full again).
