Suffice to say, there’s a lot of talking on Australian Survivor.
When contestants aren’t cracking open coconuts, balancing on beams for hours on end to win immunity, or cooking up a big bowl of rice and beans, they’re guaranteed to be talking strategy.
But it turns out, there are lot of other conversations that occur behind-the-scenes that the cameras aren’t showing.
The most recently eliminated contestant, 28-year-old Sam Webb, says there are plenty of "little things" that go on when the cameras aren't watching.
"[People do] little things to annoy others like, eating too much or you take one grain of rice too much," he told Mamamia.
"You scrape an extra bit of rice in your bowl without telling someone and people are like, 'I'm changing my alliance!' It's weird."
Sam also revealed that contestants "broke down" on the show a number of times.
"It happened a fair bit [people crying]. There was a time where I melted, but probably not on camera," he said.
"It just gets to you at time, missing things. It's really hard."
Despite the castaways "getting shitty" with each other from time to time, Sam said it's all just part of the game.
"No matter what happens on that island, I have no hard feelings against anybody," he said.
Despite the fact that is was his former bromance brother Lee who led the charge to send him home, Sam revealed they are still close mates.
"We’re really, really close. We’re tight if not tighter than ever. We’ve got a relationship and we’ll catch up outside the game and it’s all good," he said.

Despite checking in on the pair's relationship status, there was one burning question we wanted answered: why is no-one going fishing?
"You're so far gone with energy. It's a double-edged sword - you're going to get food [if you fish] but you don't have the energy to get up and do it. I wanted to do it and so did everyone else wanted to, but it just wasn't proving fruitful in the end."
