Meet the 'Brains'…

AJ survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

AJ.

AJ is a Survivor super fan with a natural flair for strategy, and he's ready to tackle the game head-on. A skilled gamer and poker player, his love for competition began in his teens with trading card games like Yu Gi Oh, where he quickly realised his knack for winning. He plans to use his poker abilities as well as his social skills to navigate Survivor.

The biggest challenge for him? Definitely the outdoors. And honestly, same.

"The hardest part about Survivor for me will be sleeping outdoors. I'm used to really nice accommodation generally, so sleeping outdoors is going to be a little bit tough," he said.

Ally survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Ally.

Ally has spent years breaking through stereotypes, proving herself in a tech industry traditionally dominated by men. As an A.I. expert, she faces the unique challenge of convincing others that her work is focused on good, not evil. Her high-energy professional life contrasts sharply with her quieter existence in a small North Queensland town, where she shares her home with… wait for it… a rescued kangaroo. Too cute.

Known for her loud, humorous personality, Ally is unapologetically herself.

"I've been nicknamed Trumpet Mouth by a friend because I have a loud voice. That's just me," Ally said.

Indy Survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Indy.

By day, Indy is a business manager, and by night, she's a stand-up comedian, always ready to bring her unapologetic, competitive edge to the table. With a sharp mind and a passion for puzzles, she's no stranger to strategy and knows exactly what it takes to win Survivor. Indy's ultimate goal is to take home the title and make her son proud.

"I'm a black Muslim bisexual who grew up in Townsville. I've been voted out of tribes my entire life. I'm ready for this," Indy said.

Kaelan survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Kaelan.

Kaelan's background is a unique mix of adventure and intellect. Having grown up playing rugby, surfing, and even becoming a professional stand-up paddleboarder, Kaelan kind of feels like he could also be a brawn. Formerly an engineer, Kaelan is now pursuing a PhD, using A.I. and drones to scout and map vegetation around Antarctica.

"People often misconceive me based on my appearance and the way I talk. If I'm with the Brawn tribe, I'm going to be talking about footy and sport, and then with the Brain tribe, I can talk about literature, get a bit deeper," Kaelan said.

Karin survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Karin.

Karin, a doctor specialising in orthopaedic surgery, is known for her sharp wit and passion for the game. She compares her intense surgical training to the challenges of Survivor, describing 36-hour shifts filled with no sleep, no food, and fierce competition amongst doctors trying to outdo one another. With her experience and determination, Karin is ready to bring that same competitive edge to the game and make a lasting impact.

"I'm here on Survivor to break bones. I don't want to put things back together. I'm not the good doctor anymore," Karin said.

Kent survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Kent.

Kent is a man driven by strategy and accustomed to success. As a business mogul, his day begins at 4:40 am, hitting the gym and catching up on the latest news before diving into running his global corporation. However, it's not just about success for him — Kent has learnt that his true mantra is not living to work, but working to live.

"When my father died, he died very wealthy and told me not to chase money. So, within a few years of him dying, I chose to basically wind back and take a few months off a year to travel the world, fly helicopters and jump out of them!"

With his sharp business acumen and negotiation skills, Kent plans to leverage his intellect to lead his tribe and get what he wants in the game.

Laura survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Laura.

When most people think of a witch, they probably don't picture someone like Laura — a blonde, bubbly, smiling woman. But Laura embraces the title, reclaiming the stigma and owning her identity. She calls herself a witch because she's a woman who knows exactly what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it.

With over 250 crystals, a daily practice of spells, and a deep understanding of manifestation through magic, Laura is no stranger to the mystical arts. An actor by profession, she believes her skills in human behaviour and manipulation will help her not only influence others, but also get people to do what she wants in the game.

Logan survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Logan.

Logan, known for her unfiltered honesty and expressive face, is leaving her family in Melbourne to fulfil her Survivor bucket list moment. A fan of the show, she acknowledges her role as a WAG, with her husband playing for the Western Bulldogs, but is determined to prove she's more than that. Studying a Bachelor of Business with a marketing major and a mother of two, Logan is ready to play Survivor for herself and show what she's truly capable of.

"I've pretty much given up my 20's to have kids. I had my daughter at 22, my son at 25 and been with my husband since I was 20. I don't regret anything, and I love my life but it's time to do something for me," Logan said.

Max survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Max.

Max is swapping his comfy Gold Coast bed for the wild unknown of Survivor, despite his biggest fear being a crab crawling across his face while he sleeps. Max is a primary school teacher who is cheeky, loud, and always ready for fun. Given he's been a massive fan of the show since he was young, being in Samoa to compete is nothing short of a dream come true for him.

"I know this game, I've been watching with my Dad since I was a kid. People might think I'm always joking around but I'm calculated and I will be out here. I put this fun energy out for a reason and to bring up tribe morale but the truth is I'm five steps ahead of everyone," Max said.

Myles survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Myles.

Myles, a financial analyst from Sydney, describes himself as a true 'Brain' with a unique twist. A huge fan of Survivor, he believes his blend of strategic thinking and statistical skills will give him an edge in the game. While surviving in harsh conditions may not be his ideal way of spending the night, Myles is determined to embrace every challenge and not take anything for granted.

"I wouldn't fit on the Brawn tribe because I don't care about brawn. All I care about is brain. The brainiest thing about me is that I love statistics. I love running statistics, learning statistics, using statistics," Myles said.

Rich survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Rich.

Rich, a director with experience working alongside some of the world's top actors, sees Survivor as his ultimate challenge… kind of like winning his own Oscar. His words, not mine.

Although he's classified as a 'Brain', Rich believes his true strength lies in his creativity, often coming up with innovative ideas and quick solutions. He's confident that his ability to think outside the box will make him a valuable team player in the game.

Zara survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Zara.

Zara is a powerhouse with a clear sense of direction and the determination to match. A mother to six-year-old twins and a ten-year-old son, she prides herself on being organised, "clean and pristine".

With a strong academic background that includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Bachelor of Law, and a Master of Economics in International Finance, Zara is also a qualified solicitor and financial planner. On top of her impressive credentials, she serves as Vice President of the PTA.

Ben survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Ben.

Ben, a father of three teenagers, finds his balance through fishing, boxing, and breath work. As a dad, he sure knows how to get the truth out of people and thinks this will put him at an advantage this season. A natural risk-taker, Ben is always up for an adventure. Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, he works as a stonemason and is ready to tackle whatever challenges come his way.

"So my plan on Survivor is to get answers from people. I won't be locked into one strategy as Survivor is a malleable game but if I can get what I need out of people then it will make it all a lot easier," Ben said.

Candy survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Candy.

Candy, a country girl from Western Australia with peroxide blonde hair and a model vibe, grew up working on farms and in wineries. She moved to Sydney to pursue a modelling career, working with brands like Adidas, Glue Store, and Poppy Lissman. Experienced in adapting to any situation, Candy has braved everything from freezing temperatures in a bikini to intense heat in winter coats.

"As a model you must put up with a lot of stuff or else you won't get hired again. You can be mentally and physically tired, getting accidentally pinned by a tailor or someone burns you with a curling wand, you just get on with it. And that's what I'll do on Survivor," Candy said.

Jesse survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Jesse.

Jesse is a fun-loving, free-spirited individual who loves making people laugh and ensuring everyone has a good time, especially on Survivor. A professional skateboarder, he runs a business that teaches people of all abilities, including those with disabilities, how to skate. Whether playing the recorder or riding his board, Jesse's all about bringing joy to others.

"I want to make the tribe laugh. I want everyone to have fun. I want to take the edge out of situations to get people more relaxed and chilled. And then I want to make some moves and be a little cheeky," Jesse said.

Kate survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Kate.

Kate, a DJ and dancer from Melbourne, is known for her bubbly, vibrant personality — and that's exactly how she wants others to see her. While her dancer-inspired outfits might throw off her fellow tribe mates on Survivor, Kate knows exactly what she's doing. She admits that she'll be playing an emotional game, but hopes her passion won't be seen as a weakness, rather as the driving force behind her strategy.

"I do like people to see me as my Instagram self, rather than my real self. Because then they're just going to go, oh, she's not a threat, we'll keep her in for now. And then I'm just going to be like, boom! I am here to push myself and see how far I can get," Kate said.

Kristin survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Kristin.

Kristin, an Aviation Firefighter from Sydney, is accustomed to working under pressure, handling emergencies like first aid, fuel spills, and rescues at the airport. A seasoned traveller who's visited every continent, she's built strong connections with others through her warm nature during solo backpacking trips. But don't let her kindness fool you — Kristin knows how to stand her ground.

"A common misconception about me is that my kindness is a weakness. I'm kind because I think it's nice to be kind, but if you don't deserve my kindness, I cut you forever," Kristin said.

Morgan survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Morgan.

Morgan is a resilient Olympic sprinter who has competed in three World Championships, two Commonwealth Games, and two Olympic Games. A three-time national champion in the 400m and Olympic finalist in the 4x400m relay, she later switched to the 800m, becoming one of the few athletes to compete in both events at the Olympics.

"Before coming to Samoa, I kind of woke up at 4am in the morning like a possessed demon. I looked to my fiancé Tom, and I said, I'm winning. We have a wedding to pay for, and it will be the wedding of the century," Morgan said.

Nash survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Nash.

Sydney salesman Nash is confident and ready to focus on the game, despite the challenge of leaving his two kids behind. A family man who loves to stir the pot, he's open about his vulnerability and wears his heart on his sleeve, something his wife knows well.

"Big blokes do cry. We are very emotional, but we are very strong inside. That's why I want to just go out there and show there are no limits, it doesn't matter what you look like or what size you are, you can do this, because look where I am right now," he said.

Laura survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Noonan.

Laura "Noonan" Noons, determined to make her mark on Survivor, grew up in the Mornington Peninsula as part of a well-known family. With a horse trainer father, a costume designer mother, and siblings in acting, teaching, and jockeying, Laura found it challenging to stand out as the youngest of the Noonan clan.

"Everyone knows my family and then there's me and nobody knows who I am unless you come down to the footy club. But day to day, people are shocked when I say I'm Laura Noonan and there's a fourth Noonan, not just the boys. I felt like I didn't contribute much to the family name and any function, people thought I was the hired help," Noonan said.

Paulie survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Paulie.

Paulie, a paramedic from Sydney, is used to staying calm under pressure, whether delivering babies or saving lives. While adapting to beach life will be new, he's ready for the challenge. A Survivor fan who looks up to Simon Mee, Paulie believes building connections and making friends will come naturally.

"For my job, I must connect with people quickly and make them feel at ease. I've been doing this job for so long that the skills I've obtained from it are part of my everyday life and I think will help me on Survivor," Paulie said.

PD survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

PD.

PD, a father of two from Sydney, works as a brewery salesman and soccer coach. A former National Soccer League player and Australian representative, he's spent the last decade coaching and plans to use those skills to lead his Brawn tribemates on Survivor.

The only thing he'll struggle with while on the show is missing his family and dog.

"Please don't tell my family this, but I will miss my dog, Rocky, the most out of everybody back home," PD said.

Ursula survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Ursula.

Ursula, a fitness coach, powerlifter, and mother of two, is all about strength and discipline. While she aims to be remembered as a fierce, courageous mom, she knows her honesty might be a challenge on Survivor. With a sporty family—her husband a former NRL player and her daughters in swimming squads — competition runs deep at home.

From what it sounds like, she's one to watch out for.

"The easiest part of the game will be stabbing people in the back," Ursula said.

Zen survivor contestantImage: Channel 10.

Zen.

Zen, the youngest tribemate and a Hip Hop artist from the Gold Coast, is focused on self-improvement and ready for Survivor. Fit and eager to embrace nature, he looks forward to stepping away from his fast-paced lifestyle. Though he's highly disciplined, Zen finds it difficult to let go of control.

"To win, I will definitely utilise my influence, persuasion and psychological tricks. I wouldn't say manipulation, but I'll definitely be using my influence to get what I want," Zen said.
