ASOS customer George Riggall excitedly opened his delivery from ASOS only to discover his highly anticipated pair of jeans were cut a third of a length longer than they should be.
And he wasn’t the only one.
So what do all these people do to exercise their displeasure? Why take to the internet of course.
Now the fashion industry has been known for catering to unrealistic body types, but the ‘Scuba’ jean is just a bit stupid, frankly.
And sadly for ASOS’ social media manager, George’s post went viral with over 40,000 likes and 20,000 retweets. Power to the people.
However, the fashion company were quick to respond linking the Twitter user to a fashion article on cuffed trousers.
Despite this apparent new fashion trend, George and his mum found the design hilarious. “I opened them and I was stood with my mum and she just started crying with laughter,” he told Buzzfeed. “We couldn’t believe what I’d been sent, I was baffled — I don’t know who would fit these jeans. Probably nobody!” (That is a little discriminatory to giants, George.)
George has decided to keep the jeans, not only because they gave him a bit of a ‘lol’ but also gained him a whole heap more Twitter followers. Yay!
Now we’ve all ordered something online that doesn’t fit quite right or looks nothing like the picture, but this is just a little over the top (or under the foot) don’t you think? Or is this the beginning of a new hipster trend? Stay tuned folks.
