Many Aussies grew up with Arnott’s Shapes as a regular part of their lunch boxes, TV nibbles, and party food. And really, despite the crackers being launched in the 1950s, not much has changed.
Apart from the fact that now Arnott’s is offering you the chance to get inside a giant, life size Shapes box. Yes, if you’ve ever dreamt of fully immersing yourself in a box of Arnott’s Shapes, this is your chance.
Arnott’s is holding a family-friendly pop-up event at Circular Quay in Sydney where you can walk inside a giant box of Shapes and create your own combination of your favourite flavours in a limited edition takeaway bowl.
It’s all part of the biscuit company’s celebration of Shapes. Over the past year, 83.6 percent of Aussie households purchased Arnott’s savoury biscuits and every day Australia consumes 230,000 packs of Shapes. They recently launched their national #whatacracker competition on the Arnott’s Shapes Facebook page, encouraging fans to share how they love to eat or serve Arnott’s Shapes. The top 10 entries will win a year’s supply of their favourite Arnott’s Shapes flavour. How good would it be to have Shapes in your lunch boxes, as your snacks and have your party food sorted for a year?
Sydneysiders, you can enter the giant Shapes box at the Overseas Passenger Terminal this Friday, June 22 from 10am to 6pm, or Saturday, June 23 from 10am to 6pm. Pose with your Shapes creation in front of the Sydney Harbour Bridge or Sydney Opera House and share your own #whatacracker moment on your socials if you want to enter the competition.
Entries so far have included people enjoying Shapes with their kids, and even their pets!
