1. Everything we know about the rumour MAFS’ Lizzie and Seb are getting married.

Well. It looks like there’s a success story to come out of this season of Married At First Sight after all. Apparently Elizabeth Sobinoff and Seb Guilhaus are getting married (for real this time).

Yep, it looks like Lizzie and Seb are going to be this season’s Cam and Jules, with their rumoured wedding set to be televised on Nine later this year, according to Now To Love,

A source supposedly told the publication that Seb and Lizzie are currently planning their wedding while staying in Seb’s hometown of Adelaide.

“Most of Seb’s family is here so it makes sense – and Lizzie has really fallen in love with the city,” the source claimed.

“It has a totally different vibe to Sydney and Melbourne, which she likes.”

Apparently, the producers are hoping the couple’s wedding will pull in high rating, following the success of Cam and Jules’ A Current Affair wedding special.

“I wouldn’t say she’s a bridezilla, but Lizzie knows what she wants,” the inside source said.

“She’ll have a big enchanted-theme wedding complete with ice sculptures!”

While nothing has been confirmed just yet, we’re sure the experts would be happy to add another MAFS success story to their (very short) list.

Married At First Sight returns on Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine.

2. “He kind of just ignored me.” I’m A Celeb’s Charlotte on what happened with Ryan.

It was the short-lived jungle romance that we didn’t really ask for… but still secretly cared about anyway.

Yep, we’re talking about Charlotte Crosby and Ryan Gallagher’s relationship on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 

But now two months on from their breakup, Charlotte has shared that the pair are no longer speaking.

“I don’t think Ryan really likes us as a person anymore,” the Geordie Shore star told Studio 10 via video link on Wednesday.

“I did try quite a lot to speak with him the last time I was in Australia but he kind of just ignored us,” she said.

“We are still friends. I love that boy to bits, he’s amazing. Like, my time in [the jungle] would not have been the same without him. We had an amazing connection.”

Alas, it looks like Charlotte and Ryan’s whirlwind relationship has ended just as suddenly as it began.

3. “We lie in bed like little gumnut babies.” Kate Langbroek on how the Italy lockdown has helped her marriage.

Look.

You’d be forgiven for thinking a three week lockdown (with no end in sight) with a partner and four kids would not be the most pleasant experience.

But Kate Langbroek has been finding the light in her family’s lockdown experience while residing in Bologna, Italy.

In fact, according to the radio host, the lockdown has actually had a positive impact on her marriage.

“We lie in bed like little gumnut babies just clutching each other’s hands until we fall asleep ready to start it all again the next day,” she told Hughesy and Ed this morning.

The 54-year-old also shared that her children have been homeschooled for five weeks now, with the whole family in lockdown for three weeks.

“The whole thing is just unsettling. We try to be level [headed] for the kids. We were told here that we would be coming out of lockdown on April 3… and of course we’re not going to, and there’s no word on when we will.

“It’s just the uncertainty and it’s a grind, but most of the time we’re fine.”

4. Bindi Irwin has shared why she rushed her wedding before the coronavirus restrictions.

Bindi Irwin has shared the heartwarming reason she and her husband, Chandler Powell, pushed their wedding forward to take place before coronavirus restrictions were introduced.

The couple had initially planned for their wedding to take place in early April in front of 200 guests.

But as restrictions to weddings were set to come in place, meaning the pair would only be able to get married in front of two guests, the pair opted for an early, intimate ceremony with just one extra person.

The guest list included Bindi’s mum Terri, brother Robert, and Wes Mannion, her late-father’s best friend.

“When it boiled down to it, we both just said, ‘Look, we desperately want to get married, and no matter what the future holds, at least we’ll be husband and wife,'” the 21-year-old told People.

March 25th 2020 ❤️ We held a small ceremony and I married my best friend. There are no words to describe the amount of love and light in my heart right now. We’ve planned this beautiful day for nearly a year and had to change everything, as we didn’t have guests at our wedding. This was a very difficult decision but important to keep everyone safe. We wish all of our friends and family could have been there with us, however it’s lovely that we will be able to share photos and videos. Right now we’re encouraging the world to hold onto hope and love, which will carry us forward during this profound time in history. Today we celebrated life and revelled in every beautiful moment we shared together in our Australia Zoo gardens. Mum helped me get ready, Robert walked me down the aisle, Chandler became my husband and together we lit a candle in Dad’s memory. We shared tears and smiles and love. Thankfully, since we all live at Australia Zoo as a family, we could be there for each other. To everyone reading this – stay safe, social distance and remember LOVE WINS!

“We had dad’s picture with his dog Sui blown up on an easel,” she said.

“So mum and Robert were standing right next to dad as we exchanged vows. We had a candle-lighting ceremony for him, and it really felt like he was there with us. It was a lovely moment of peace and happiness.”

The pair secretly wed on March 25th in the garden of her family’s Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast.

“Even if it wasn’t by-the-book perfect, it was our perfect,” she said.

5. “I was bleeding and you didn’t see.” The storyline even the Kardashians chose not to air.

It’s weirdly comforting to know that even during a global pandemic, the Kardashians are still nabbing headlines.

Season 18 of the long-running reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiered with a bang this week, ending with Kim and Kourtney Kardashian in a physical altercation after an argument over Kourtney’s contribution to the show.

But apparently there was more to the aftermath of this storyline which viewers weren’t privy to.

Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Kim said the fight led to a one-week production break.

“Kourtney and I are obviously fine right now but we shut down production for a week after that,” said the 39-year-old.

“I think everyone was really shook for a minute and just was like, this isn’t our type of show, we want everyone to be comfortable and safe but that happened.”

The sudden shutdown of production means that the immediate aftermath of the physical altercation between Kim and Kourtney was not filmed and will not be aired as part of the series, which is a break from tradition for the family whose motto is ‘cameras always rolling’.

For reference, the first time (and only other time) production has been halted on the series was in 2015 when Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband, Lamar Odom was hospitalised for a drug overdose.

On-screen text during one of the following episodes addressed Lamar’s hospitalisation and stated that “out of love and respect for Lamar and the family, filming of Keeping Up With the Kardashians was stopped for a brief period”.

“I don’t really ever resort to violence like that but she scratched me so hard, which you guys didn’t see,” Kim continued. “I was bleeding and so you didn’t really get to see that detail but when I looked down at my arm and saw that she had really scratched me and I felt it all on my back, I just went over and slapped her back.”

“It’s not like my proudest moment but we were going through it and she’s made the decision to take time off.”
