This week, as we anticipate the end of The Bachelorette, it seems we lose all sense of normal hobbies in place of desperately speculating who will win Sophie’s heart.
It’s productive, fulfilling and not at all an indictment on our priorities and interests. Ahem.
Anyhoo, this week, among all the gossip that surrounds assumed winner Stu Laundy, little airtime has been given to Apollo, and the slim possibility he could, you know, take this one out.
However, there’s a clue, you see.
Want to hear more Bachelor ramblings? You need to listen to Bach Chat.
A clue my colleagues assume suggests Apollo has more chance than winning than anyone else. It’s all about Sophie’s best friend Oscar Gordon.
Oscar, if you have a squiz on Instagram, follows only one of the final three on Instagram. It’s Apollo, and thus, reality TV fans are screaming spoiler from the corners of their couches. He must be the winner! They must have met!
All my colleagues are convinced.
But, well, I’m not.
If Apollo actually did win, Sophie, her family and her closest friends would do everything little thing in their power to protect that information. There’s no way in hell her best friend would be following the winner on Instagram because, um, that’s a little bit obvious.
