Anna Faris was bullied for having a crying baby.

Because it was all her fault apparently.

“You better shut that baby up,” were the words that Anna Faris heard when her now 2-year-old son, Jack was screaming his lungs out on a long haul flight.

The words came from a grumpy 62-year-old, Mickey Rourke, the 38-year-old actress revealed during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday.

Anna was travelling after being in England with her husband, Chris Pratt during his filming of Guardians of the Galaxy when the event unravelled.

It's a classic parenting tale (and most parents' worst nightmare). The pair (mum and bub) were sitting on the plane awaiting take-off when the baby began it's lung workout.

"Not screaming, not crying, just being adorable, I thought," Anna told Jimmy. "But I'm also sweating, because now everyone is hating me around me."

And Anna wasn't wrong - next minute she hears a big SHUSH from across the aisle, only to look across and see Mickey Rourke looking displeased. Anna later found out from a colleague that Mickey loves to shush a baby.

It's an awful feeling, your stomach drops and you have no where to go. Your baby is screaming and you're all stuck in a sardine can with no noise protection. Mickey made sure Anna knew what he thought about the situation.

"He started grumbling, like: You better shut that baby up!" Anna told the TV host.

Luckily for everyone involved the baby slept for most of the duration of the flight afterward. But it brings up that age-old question again - should you travel with babies and what do you do when they cry scream?

Anna has also opened up about going through premature labour with husband Chris Pratt in an interview with Redbook.

"My water broke in the middle of the night at seven months. We rushed to the hospital, and they were able to halt active labor with magnesium. I was at the hospital and the goal was to be in bed for four weeks, " she said.

"But on the seventh day, I went into labor again. I was in denial. For hours I was like, 'I'm just having indigestion.' Chris and I were so scared, but when Jack came out, even though he was so tiny, he looked so good to us."

But Anna says the whole ordeal brought her and husband Chris a lot closer. "It's one of those things that drives you apart or makes you closer. I think that being a father is very meaningful and rewarding to Chris. He's a great dad," she told continued.
