1. “My standard Gogglebox fam doing their thang.” Angie Kent responds to her former co-stars’ comments on her Bachie appearance.

When Angie Kent was announced as our next Bachelorette, Gogglebox fans were excited to see how Angie’s former co-stars would react when watching her on the show.

And last week the moment finally came – but it didn’t really go as many would have expected.

One of the contestants forgot her name. Oh.

“I did notice one of them didn’t remember my name and I was like, ‘Alright, that’s nice of you, we only did the show together for a bit…'” Angie told Kyle and Jackie O.

It was pretty rough to watch, considering Angie spent four years on Gogglebox with her former housemate, Yvie Jones.

Kyle and Jackie O asked Angie what it was like watching her former Gogglebox co-stars see her on The Bachelorette. 

“You know what? It was good. It was my standard Gogglebox fam doing their thang,” she replied.

But Angie admitted there were a few comments that caught her off guard.

“Everyone was really good. There was a few, you know, ‘whatever’, though.”

Gogglebox star, Di, also made a comment when Angie was describing herself as a “Bachelorette up the top [and a] bogan down the bottom”.

“Darling, you’re bo… I won’t comment on that!” said Di.

The Gogglebox cast also weighed in on the contestants vying for Angie’s heart. And they certainly weren’t a fan of Jamie or Jesse.

When Jamie appeared on-screen holding a puppy, Adam said, “She felt the spark with the dog, mate!”

And when now-disgraced Noosa Councillor Jess Glasgow appeared on screen, Isabelle Silbery said, “Ew, he is so disgusting!”

While Gogglebox has ended for the year, we thankfully still have The Bachelorette for our weekly dose of reality TV. The latest episode of The Bachelorette airs tonight on Ten at 7:30pm.

2. Oh. Next year’s season of Big Brother will apparently have a new format… and we don’t know how we feel about it.

When Big Brother 2020 was announced, we were incredibly excited to hear the cult reality TV show would be returning to our screens after a five-year hiatus.

But now it appears next year’s season of Big Brother will have a completely new format.

According to TV Black Box, there will be no live voting from the public, and instead, housemates will vote against each other. Interesting.

There will also be no live elimination episodes. Okay…

While it strays from the original format, the ‘Survivor-style’ voting could actually be a good thing because the show will become a game of tactic rather than a popularity contest.

The show's production company, Endemol Shine, has also apparently been discussing the possibility of not having a host. And sorry, what? No Gretel? That's a pretty big deal.

Instead, they're thinking about using a voice over artist to provide commentary for the show.

While we don't know if the speculation is true or not, we can't even begin to imagine Big Brother without a host.

3. Kylie Jenner has filed to trademark the phrase "Rise and Shine" and what is this world coming to.

It appears Kylie Jenner is attempting to trademark "Rise and Shine" and her business eye is absolutely OUTSTANDING.

For those of you who may be extremely confused by this strange choice of word ownership, let us catch you up.

Earlier this month, Kylie Jenner gave fans a glimpse of her Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin office, in a 16-minute-long YouTube video.

If you didn't wait around until the last minute or so, you may have missed Kylie walking into her daughter, Stormi's room, and singing her a melodic "Rise and Shine" to wake her up.

It's just a two-second clip, but she's a Jenner, so her serenade went viral on social media.

Now the 22-year-old is hoping to trademark the phrase because... money. Obviously.

If she is successful, you may want to prepare yourselves for a whole lot of Kylie Jenner merch. More specifically, belts, pants, coats, dresses, footwear, gloves, headbands, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, sleepwear, socks, swimwear, undergarments and cosmetics, of course - all which she has filed for.

4. "Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty." Nicky Minaj just got married and her new last name is... unique.

Introducing Mrs Petty.

It looks like Nicki Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj, has tied the knot with her partner, Kenneth Petty, after hinting at settling down for a few months now.

The 36-year-old uploaded a picture to Instagram of hats that read "Bride" and "Groom" as well as Mr and Mrs mugs.

5. Lindsay Lohan just eviscerated Cody Simpson on Instagram for dumping her sister and it's awkward.

Family is more important than legally binding contracts for The Masked Singer judge Lindsay Lohan.

As if watching a singing monster and frantically googling ‘The Masked Singer conspiracy theories’ wasn’t enough for us, the end of Australia’s weirdest yet most endearing reality show has brought about some major scandal are we are HERE FOR IT.

After the Robot a.k.a Cody Simpson a.k.a Miley Cyrus’ new boyfriend was named as the winner, Lindsay took to Instagram to… uh, ridicule him?

You see, Cody apparently dated Lindsay’s younger sister Ali in 2018. Who knew?

After The Masked Singer finale aired, Lindsay shared a now-deleted post to Instagram with a truly wild caption.

"When you realise you failed. And you settle for less @codysimpson. Family is everything, you won The Masked Singer but you lost on your future."

LINDSAY THAT IS THE MOST DRAMATIC THING WE'VE EVER READ.
