Every Sex and the City Easter egg hidden in season 3 of And Just Like That.

After a devilishly long wait between cosmopolitans, And Just Like That is finally back for a third round.

And Just Like That is a modern reboot of Sex and the City, as our fave ladies navigate the complexities of life, work, love and friendship in their 50s in New York City.

Season 3 of And Just Like That continues to explore the next chapter for Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte.

Picking up on the fallout from Carrie's rekindled romance with Aidan, the new season finds Carrie shifting her creative focus from memoir to fiction writing.

Meanwhile, Miranda is moving forward after her split with Che, focusing on her work with Human Rights Watch and a new horizon in dating. Charlotte continues to juggle family life with Harry and their children, while tackling the ever-changing landscape of parenting teens in New York.

The core trio returns with Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis all back, with other divas, Sarita Choudhury as Seema Patel and Nicole Ari Parker as Lisa Todd Wexley, rejoining the crew.

And yes, John Corbett will be back as Carrie's on-again-off-again beau, Aidan.

If you're a die-hard Sex and the City fan, you'll know And Just Like That is a treasure trove of nostalgia, packed with clever Easter eggs and references that reward long-time viewers.

From nods to iconic moments or lines to the return of beloved fashion moments or unforgettable characters, And Just Like That is for fans who have been there since day one.

Already in the Season 3 trailer, Carrie's signature narration made a triumphant return — a storytelling style that defined the original Sex and the City. We're so back, baby.

We've rounded up all the cheeky Easter eggs and references that will make any SATC devotee squeal into their Manolo Blahniks.

And Just Like That Easter egg: Carrie's love affair with big, weird hats continues.

Last season gave us the pigeon purse, which was a clear callback to Big's awful bejewelled gift, and on Season 3, we have Carrie wearing a new big, baffling hat.

It was giving Little Miss Muffett — but make it fashion. The hat was actually a piece called 'Head in the Clouds' from the artist Maryam Keyhani.

This hat is one of many in a cherished tradition of our protagonists rocking some truly bizarre hat choices.

Carrie's penchant for harrowing headwear even became a punchline in SATC when her then-boyfriend Jack Burger negged her on a date. "Nice hat!" he sneered sarcastically.

It was a 'nice hat' and Carrie will wear — and rock — any hat she chooses.

And Just Like That Easter egg: Miranda and her battle with religion.

In And Just Like That, Miranda unknowingly takes the virginity of a woman (played by Rosie O'Donelle) who turns out to be a nun, leading to some funny banter with Carrie about "holy ghosts" and religious figures.

The storyline isn't just a delightful return to Miranda's 'bad date' stories that were a mainstay of SATC but a playful wink to Miranda's earlier run-ins with Catholicism.

Fans immediately recognised this as a clever callback to Sex and the City season 3, when Miranda discovered that her housekeeper Magda had replaced her vibrator with a statue of the Virgin Mary.

Oddly, the series didn't think to mention the time Samantha tried to seduce a celibate monk (aka 'Friar F**k') in Season 4 of the show.

And Just Like That Easter egg: Carrie and Miranda reverse roles.

In Episode 1, Carrie found herself in a predicament after slipping on her wooden floors, leaving her stranded and unable to stand.

Without hesitation, she phoned Miranda for assistance, uttering the familiar phrase: "I've fallen and I can't get up."

Fans were quick to spot the parallel to a memorable scene from Sex and the City Season 4, where the roles were reversed.

In that earlier episode, Miranda had thrown out her neck and became trapped on the bathroom floor. When she called Carrie for help, Carrie sent her then-boyfriend Aidan instead — resulting in the awkward scenario of him having to lift a naked Miranda and wrap her in a rug.

The two characters had a later argument about why it was wrong to send your boyfriend when your friend needed you. Team Miranda, all the way.

And Just Like That Easter egg: Aidan is back… again.

Aidan is back in a big way, and the trailer is filled with references to their complicated past.

The scene where Aidan throws a stone at Carrie's window — accidentally breaking it — is a direct callback to the grand romantic gesture made between the couple in earlier seasons when they got back together.

In Episode 1, Carrie and Aidan's long-distance romance begins, complete with awkward phone sex and blank postcards — these moments could be a callback to their up-and-down dynamic throughout their relationship.

And Just Like That Easter egg: 'A woman's right to shoes.'

In another trailer, Carrie vents to Miranda and Charlotte about her neighbour banning her from wearing high heels.

"I have rights! A woman's right to shoes," she seethes to the gals. This is an obvious callback to the Sex and the City episode when Carrie is 'shoe-shamed' by her friend with kids, who refuses to pay Carrie for shoes that were stolen from her home.

Carrie then coined the phrase 'a woman's right to shoes' when discussing why single women don't get celebrated to the same extent as married women and mothers.

And Just Like That Easter egg: 'Summer in the City.'

The 'summer in the city' vibes sold in the trailer are reminiscent of some of the most iconic Sex and the City episodes, setting the tone for a season full of rooftop parties, outrageous fashion and late-night escapades.

And Just Like That Easter egg: Carrie's evolving writing career.

Fans have followed Carrie's writing career from newspaper columnist and Vogue writer to fully-fledged book author.

In Season 3, Carrie's career takes a fresh turn as she considers writing a "romantasy" — a blend of romance and fantasy. This is both a nod to the ever-evolving publishing world and a playful in-joke, with her publisher suggesting titles like 'Sex and the Cauldron', a callback to her original iconic column.
