It’s been more than 20 years since Alanis Morissette released Jagged Little Pill – one of the best-selling albums of all time – and more than 18 since she last performed in Australia.
But clear your calendars, because next year the Canadian singer will be returning to our shores to perform two rare shows.
The acoustic sets will be staged at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne on January 23 and ICC Sydney Theatre on January 24, and will cover the 43-year-old’s greatest hits.
Fingers crossed that among them will be You Oughta Know, All I Really Want, Hand In My Pocket and, of course, Ironic (which, ironically, doesn’t actually contain any examples of genuine irony).
