As if I needed another excuse to shop, the Afterpay Day sales are upon us. SOS!

I'm actually trying to be conscious of my spending this year, so I've been biding my time for sale events like this one.

Afterpay Day tends to see retailers offer site-wide markdowns (or a percentage off current items), whereas those pesky end-of-season sales are just offloading older stock.

It's a good way to ensure I'm buying pieces I love, and not merely falling for the lure of a bargain.

Really good tank tops can be hard to come by.

This chic option from Meshki is normally out of my price range for a basic, but the markdown makes it more accessible.

We all know P.E Nation gives good legging, and this style is a cut above with its sporty side-stripe.

I'd wear these from Pilates to coffee to playdates with my toddler.
