Better Homes and Gardens' Adam Dovile and wife Lisa announce beautiful news.

Former House Rules stars Adam and Lisa Dovile have announced they are expecting their second baby together.

Lisa uploaded a photo of herself with nine-month-old daughter Arabella alongside a string of ultrasound photos on Instagram on Saturday.

“After some incredibly tough months for all of us (cheers hyperemesis again…) we are so grateful to introduce this little surprise which has been baking away,” she wrote, adding that she’s “nearly half way” along.

It’s been a big couple of years since the couple first came onto our screens in 2014 on Channel Seven’s House Rules – a renovation reality show they went on to win.

Since then, Adam scored a coveted role on Better Home and Gardens, won a Silver Logie, the duo married and they also had their first baby together.

Baby Arabella was born in May last year, after a difficult pregnant and birth experience for Lisa.

Suffering from Hyperemesis, a complication of pregnancy that is characterised by severe nausea and vomiting, Lisa told Kidspot last year that she was even vomiting during labor. As she references in her Instagram post, it appears the condition has reappeared during her second pregnancy.

As for her labour, Lisa said it was one she intended to do with the help of drugs. However, by the time it was readily available, it was time to push and too late for the epidural.

“She was eight and a half pounds. I had 20 stitches and no pain relief. To be honest, it was pretty horrific,” she told Kidspot.

In the same interview, she said Arabella was “the best thing” that had happened to their lives, but at “the same time, it has been very hard”.
