The bizarre Instagram feud unfolding between Abbie Chatfield and Dean Wells about... feminism.

Hence, we would very much like to divert your attention to the feud currently unfolding between Abbie Chatfield and Dean Wells, with a surprise guest appearance from Jamie Doran. It’s breaking news. Settle in.

You see, former Married at First Sight groom Dean Wells commented on a post by Abbie that read: “ha the klan has written a lot of books too. A lot of crazy extremists write books. Its [sic] not hard. Especially when you have a degree in gender studies from Adelaide Uni.”

The relevance of his comments right now remains unclear but ANYWAY.

The Bachelor‘s Abbie Chatfield posted a screenshot of his comments, with the words, “Just a reminder that Dean Wells compared feminist literature to the [white supremacist group] KKK as an attempt at a hot take. Uneducated and dangerous.”

Then, the two reality stars shared the contents of their private conversation, which inevitably turned messy.

Posting a screenshot of their DMs to his story, Dean Wells showed that he sent Abbie a screenshot of some tweets shared by well-known feminist author Clementine Ford.

According to Dean's screenshot, Abbie ostensibly just laughed at the screenshot which included the tweet "Kill all men".

"Wow Abbie Chatfield from The Bachelor thinks it's hilarious that a feminist tweeted 'men are gross and also rapists, kill all men'."

Goodness. This escalated faster than a MAFS marriage. Which is... instant.

"I am all for equality but this extremist behaviour is way too much," the 42-year-old added.

But just like all reality TV dramas, that's not the full story PLS.

Back to Abbie's stories. She decided to post their full conversation, which we've reposted here. Obviously.

Abbie clarified that she was in fact not laughing at Clementine Ford's tweets but instead laughing at Dean who she says does not understand that Clementine Ford's tweets are "satirical".

Cool.

But it doesn't stop there. Of course not.

Dean Wells then also posted their full conversation, conceding he had omitted context but then doubling down: "Abbie Chatfield this is not ok no matter wht [sic] the context."

The former MAFS groom then received an onslaught of negative comments, some of which critiqued his appearance, to which he re-posted with the words: "Abbie Chatfield what a great bunch of followers you have."

But there's more. Abbie Chatfield has more screenshots.

Abbie says Dean "again, doesn't include context" and why do I feel like this has turned into a lesson on how to write an argument for an essay.

"Dude I have no control over people who follow me. I don't condone that," Abbie tells Dean. "The one about cropping is fair. Anything about your looks isn't."

Everyone shhhhhhhhhhh.

"This double standards behaviour from Abbie Chatfield is nothing new, Dean Wells!"

I'm... so confused by this input. But onwards.

Abbie is back and has some words for Jamie: "Yes Jamie, you got me. I'm a troll. Posting a funny gif to clear up the fact that you weren't dating someone is trolling."

Abbie then says that Dean and Jamie "can't stand a woman who is 15 years younger than them [who] can articulate themselves better."

A few hours later Abbie provides us with some tips on how to argue.

"If you need to doctor your evidence or omit things, or omit context or discard context, the point that you're making is incorrect."
