Welcome to Mamamia Rogue’s Shocker, Hero and Whinger of the Week.
Here’s how it works: Each week, we pick the biggest Shocker, Hero and Whinger from the last seven days. Shocker is whatever moment or person left our jaws on the floor. Hero is whoever won the week by being flat-out amazing. And whinger? Well, that’s pretty much just someone who has had a major sooky-la-la moment.
Let’s do this.

The news that binge-watching TV will probably KILL YOU.
A new study has found that people who watch three or more hours of TV a day are twice as likely to die in the next few years as people who watch little to no TV.
So, you could binge on Season 2 of Orange is the New Black today, or you could, you know, DECIDE TO LIVE INSTEAD.
And apparently it’s not just the sitting that makes TV watching dangerous, since other sedentary activities like driving or working on the computer don’t seem to have the same result. That result being death.
“Compared to driving a car or doing work on a computer, television is a very passive activity,” a cardiologist told NBC news.
So… do with this information what you will. Although if you related to Rosie Waterland’s TV addict list at all, you may be fearing for your life right now.
Hero of the week goes to…

Stunning.
Whinger of the week goes to…
